Atarazana — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

🇮🇹 “Valiente Restaurante” rappresenta una tappa chiaramente orientata al turismo. Portato lì dalla guida durante un tour, mi aspettavo una maggiore varietà e qualità nei piatti offerti. L’area self-service, purtroppo, ha lasciato a desiderare sia in termini di scelta che di standard culinari. Tuttavia, un punto a favore del ristorante è stato il ballo di intrattenimento, che ha aggiunto un tocco di vivacità all’esperienza. Nel complesso, potrebbe non essere la scelta ideale per chi cerca un’esperienza gastronomica autentica, ma potrebbe andar bene per un pasto veloce durante un tour.

🇬🇧 “Valiente Restaurante” is evidently a tourist-oriented spot. Taken there by the guide during a tour, I was hoping for a more varied and quality meal offering. The self-service section, regrettably, fell short in terms of choice and culinary standards. A redeeming feature, however, was the entertaining dance performance, which added a lively touch to the experience. Overall, it might not be the top choice for those seeking an authentic dining experience, but it might suffice for a quick meal...

Nicely decorated to take full advantage of the building's antiquity. This provides an excellent atmosphere in which to enjoy a simple, but well produced buffet, of mainly local dishes. It's extremely well placed for exploring Plaza España and the Zona Colonial in general. It has the added advantage of being only fifty yards from a multi storey car park, resolving one of the perennial problems for those driving...

Lovely service and dancers. We went with a group of 46 and was included in the tour price. Also, there were 4 other large groups which made it hot and crowded. There was plenty of food for everyone. Food quality was cafeteria grade set up as a buffet. The drinks were basic and served front to back. Dessert was fresh fruit and bread pudding. Grateful for the opportunity but don't need...
