I stopped by for a cup of coffee but ended up ordering more after discovering the Venezuelan breakfast menu. The Venezuelan arepas were skillfully prepared and topped with butter, which made the dish absolutely delicious. I read a review where someone complained about "dry pancakes," but it shouldn’t be confused with American pancakes as Venezuelan arepas are completely different. They are made from corn and are typically savory dense and used more like a fresh flat bread. You can enjoy them plain, on the side, or stuffed with meat and queso de mano, a type of fresh cheese. I opted for the Venezuelan breakfast plate, which included the queso de mano, carne ripiada in DR* or carne mechada in Ven* (a kind of pulled beef), eggs and black beans and it was glorious. The meal was like a small adventure and took me back to Caracas with its authenticity. Edit: I went again to the restaurant today and there are “hot cakes” on the menu that I assume someone was reviewing as “dry pancakes”. My bad, I mistakenly believed they were referring to the arepas. I didn’t try the hot cakes but my review still stands.

We came for breakfast/ brunch here and experienced a bad treatment by the waiter. The pancakes I ordered should come with strawberry sirope and strawberries on top. She brought them completely naked!! She said that they don't have strawberries. Informing the client beforehand maybe didn't appeal to her? I sent the pancakes back, she got aggressive, almost shouted at me! Then she came back and put FROZEN strawberries on top! Wow. Plus those were the most dry pancakes I've ever had in my life.. Didn't finish even 20% of it. Fie! My sisters eggs came with bacon although she ordered it without. It took ages until it arrived again without bacon. Generally it seemed to us like the lady doesn't want to be working and puts her anger on the clients. Very unpleasant visit! We were very disappointed. Only positive things: the milkshakes were good and the music very relaxing. Otherwise the surrounding looks kind of shabby. No idea why this place received until now such positive ratings. It's a riddle to us.

The lady that I was asking questions to about the menu working hated her job this was on 5/3/25 around 730p. There was no one in the restaurant and I was asking (mind you in Spanish) to be respectful of the culture about different options they had. My issue was that she made obvious either she doesn’t like her job, didn’t like the I walked in, didn’t like that I was asking questions. She just had the most irritated facial expression I don’t expect people to smile but just be a decent person. I got food that I saw someone posted here and I could tell that they cut the amount of meat they gave me it was apparent bc there still space on the plate for where the meat should be. Other than the food was decent. My irritation nowadays is that 90% of people hate their job or life. It’s so rare to see decent people in this industry it’s sad. Even if you learn their language it won’t do anything if they hate their job your efforts to respectful won’t be appreciated.

I had questions about their menu since online it wasn’t very clear, the person on Instagram wasn’t very friendly to star with. She told me to just go on UBEReats and check it there. I went on the app and ordered my food, she had told me to let her know the order number so they can follow up with it in the restaurant. 45 mins had passed and I was still waiting for an order that was supposed to be here within 20 mins or so. I contacted the person and rudely said that there’s other orders before mine. After an hour and 12 minutes my order arrived and the drink (chicha) that I had ordered medium size had spilled all over the bag. I ask the UBER eats guy to take it back and get it changed especially since it’s an expensive drink. He willingly did so. I contacted the restaurant to let them know what happened and they blamed it all on the delivery guy but it seemed like the lid wasn’t closed correctly. Whatever, they said they would replace it no problem. The manager even called to let me know and I said thank you I appreciate it. When I get my drink delivered it was sealed in a plastic bag so I didn’t think anything of it, when I get in my house to finally drink it I realized they sent me a small, even though I sent back a medium and I paid for a medium. $6 for a medium and they sent me back a small. When I contact the restaurant regarding this via Instagram since they weren’t answering the phone, the person was super rude saying they sent me a medium that I was wrong when I clearly know that I’m not, and that the manager supposedly told her that when he called me I hung up the phone on him rudely which I was appreciative that they were changing my order. I’m venezuelan and I was looking forward to trying this place out since I order from different Venezuelan restaurants in the city and love the food, but I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN, not to mention the PEPITO I ordered tasted nasty! It was cold, saggy, and the “pork meat” they supposedly add was nothing but pork chops. Such a waste of money. TO TOP IT OFF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. I’m not one to review places negatively because I understand mistakes happen, just own up to them and that’s all, but this review was highly needed. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS...

Ate there on Saturday evening 5th of October for the first time. We arrived at around 7 pm or just after. My friends who i went with had been there before and said it was great. Unfortunately it wasnt this time. We ordered starters and main courses. Bbq buffalo wings came out uncooked and red in the middle but unlucky for me because coated in thick bbq sauce I didnt realise until almost finishing the first one. I feel awful today and have been sick and have diarreah. The main courses for all 3 of us were not hot and we had to send them back. When they came back they were stiĺl not oven hot. No apologies from management and nothing reflected on the bill when it came. The 3 of us will not be eating there again. Uncooked chicken is the worst thing to eat....believe me. Such a shame that the manager or owner didnt come to our table to apologize and offer some form of compensation as that would have avoided writing this review which I really hated to do. This is my first time giving a bad review. Had the restaurant acted professionally it wouldnt have...
