Dining at this restaurant felt like stepping into a delicious dialogue between past and present. As I sat facing the beautifully lit historical square, live music floated gently through the air—just enough to set the mood without stealing the show. The staff were gracious and warm, offering generous treats throughout the evening that made me feel more like a guest than a customer.

Each dish came with its own surprise. The tomato-based ceviche, unlike any I’d had before, brought a refreshing twist that caught me off guard in the best way. The spice level was balanced—just enough to tease the palate without overwhelming it. And the pisco sour? Smooth, citrusy, and delightfully strong, like a celebratory nod to tradition.

As I tasted each plate, I couldn’t help but imagine the history that unfolded right outside the window—rebellions, declarations, dances, and dreams. It’s rare to find a place where food, atmosphere, and storytelling come together so effortlessly. This was one of them.

Good location and good views of San Francisco. We had attentive service that tried really hard. We started with the Llapingachos Quitenos. It was the only thing we liked. Ordered a Martini from their menu. It was half full with crushed ice and a salted rim. It was the first classic cocktail on the menu. I ordered the Sec de Gallina Criolla. It was a malnourished chicken served in weak broth and rice. The chicken had almost no meat or fat on it. It was mostly thick, rubbery skin my teeth couldn't...

Si tienen la oportunidad de comer en este restaurante recomiendo ampliamente saltársela, yo como guía de turismo había llevado varias veces grupos a comer en este lugar y pues no era wow pero logísticamente era útil aunque extremadamente caro para lo que ofrecen, sin embargo la última vez que asistí con turistas nos fue terrible, las empanadas que eran una "entrada" se demoraron como 30 minutos y estaban chorreando aceite, se demoraron más de una hora en servir la comida y cuando la pasaron estaba toda fría, fea o guardada, en mi ceviche hasta los chifles estaban rancios, total ese momento me disculpé con los turistas pero ya no reclamamos porque con el retraso del servicio ya íbamos tarde para el resto de actividades, total pedimos las cuentas y pasaron, 5, 10 minutos y no las traían, dos veces más volví a pedir y me supieron decir que se les habían mezclado las cuentas y no sabían que era de que mesa, en conclusión, terminamos perdiendo 2 horas y media en este lugar para comer horrible y pagar mucho dinero. Es una pena porque el lugar es bonito y muy bien ubicado.

Cómo dato interesante, a pesar de que se me había indicado que como guía no me iban a cobrar mi consumo y esta vez si lo hicieron y además se me había indicado que había una comisión por el consumo de los turistas que llevara y cuando fui a retirar las comisiones me indicaron que "ellos jamás habían llegado a un acuerdo conmigo" 🤡 En...
