It’s a SATISFACTORY LIGHT LUNCHEON at a small cozy eatery serving familiar comfort Vietnamese street food, with some measure of authenticity😎.

The place is an unassuming, very tidy serving counter with a pleasant dining area👌. * it’s almost a hip bistro😎. It is tucked on the short quiet street amidst the Skyscrapers and bustling streets in Quito’s Carolina Business District.

The menu consists of FAMILIAR VIETNAMESE STREET FOODS.

• Fresh springs rolls, choice of protein
• Pho (noodle soup), Vermicelli (dry noodles), Rice Bowls with choice of protein

BUT NO BEEF, too bad🫤🫤🫤🫤 because Vietnamese beef is astoundingly delicious

• Banh Mi, a French-influenced Vietnamese sandwich

👌👌👌 Spring Rolls with chicken , the other shrimps are both refreshingly crisp, simple and clean.

The dipping sauce is mild. I am however partial to the Hot Sriracha, which they actually have 🤩.

👌👌👌 The Pho is as classic Vietnamese as it could get. The broth is a fragrant flavorful consommé of stewed chicken (I thought).

Fresh scallion and bean sprouts with added mushrooms.

Slices of chicken and Tender rice vermicelli noodles.

BUT THE PHO COULD HAVE BEEN MORE FLAVORFUL IF IT WAS BEEF BROTH AND SLUCES OF VIETNAMESE ROAST BEEF AND SAVORY BEEF BALLS.

AND EVEN BETTER IF THERE WERE MORE VEGETABLES LIKE BOKCHOY, SNOW PEAS.

Food is cater to the locals' taste. I ordered the chicken pho as they don't serve beef pho. Nothing authentic or close to what viet food is. They use the wrong noodles as the one they used were hard in texture. Bean sprouts were old, no jalepeno, no siracha and the chicken was overcooked and dried. The viet coffee was brew with columbian coffee grounds but they called it Vietnamese coffee because they added some condensed milk in it. Lol. Absolutely a gem! Staff, ambience and food all upbeat, fresh and delicious. Having come straight from six months in Vietnam I can say that their banh my is a superb effort, if not quite the same.
