Having lived and worked in Indonesia before moving to Ecuador in August 2020, my fiancé and I have been craving for authentic Indonesian food....and Warung Indonesia did not disappoint! The restaurant setting is beautiful, the staff were very attentive and friendly, and we enjoyed the opportunity to meet the chef and his wife. The food was fantastic, better than the restaurants I fondly remember in Borneo and Jakarta. Excellent menu, wonderful condiments...both the entrée and main were simply delicious. What a hidden gem! Accidentally stumbled upon this place and was REALLY wanting southeast asian food. I was delighted! We ordered the Nasi Goreng, Satay and a fermented fried soy dish. Absolutely LOVED the spicy variety of sauces they serve! The green spicy sauce that had lemongrass and ginger in it was my favorite! This meal took my husband and I back to our honeymoon in Indonesia and we were both stuffed and happy from all the food. Prices and portion sizes are very reasonable. Had a wonderful dinner in this restaurant serving delicious fine Indonesian cuisine. Instantly we feel home 💗 We had bakso (meatball), bakmi (fried noodle), sorts of appetizers, and turmeric jamu herbal drink which is good for health. Also, we love spicy chilli sauce! Love the cozy restaurant layout where you can chill outside in terrace or dine inside & feel warm. Will definitely come back 🙌🏻
