Good little place for breakfast or lunch frequented by the locals (i.e. cheap prices). The ladies that run the place are lovely but don't speak English so make sure you know what you want to ask for or have a translator on your phone. I asked for breakfast despite it being after 11am and they accommodated me.
I had a bowl of granola and plenty of fresh fruit, as well as a plate of scrambled eggs (cooked well, not overcooked like most places here do) with a bread roll and a decent cappuccino for $5. I noticed they were roasting some meats and plantain for lunch. Wish I'd gone again to try that.

For just $6, we got fresh juice, a tasty cappuccino made from locally roasted Santa Cruz beans, fruit salad with yogurt, dried fruits, granola, and nuts, plus a fried or scrambled egg with a fresh bread roll. Everything was fresh and nicely prepared.
The coffee is quite strong, but very good – you can taste the quality. What made the visit even better was the lady running the café – super friendly and welcoming, it felt a bit like visiting someone’s home.
