We had dinner here 2 evenings out of the 4 we were in Puerto Ayora. The Ossobuco is the best we ever had, you can use the little spoon to scope up the marrow and eat it with the homemade bread, so rich and flavorful. This restaurant is owned and run by a young couple and the chef who is also their business partner. Michaela is the one who runs the front of the restaurant and she is extremely engaging with the customers, she remembered us from our first visit and cheerfully welcome us back and sat us at the same table. We also ordered the Ronda Criolla Plurana which was perfectly seasoned and cooked. On our second evening there, we ordered the Fish and Seafood Platter, and Hummus Babaganoush. Both dishes were so good, we basically wiped the plates cleaned! Without a doubt, Nazca is the best in all of the Galapagos islands if you are looking for fresh and top quality ingredients cooked with passion and served by engaging and...

We were blown away by this restaurant from the moment we walked in! Every single dish we tried was incredible — from breakfast to dinner to cocktails, everything was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can really tell the chef is detail-oriented and takes great pride in both the taste and presentation of every plate.
The Galapagos coffee was also amazing — rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. Pairs well with all of their desserts. The service was just as impressive as the food. A special shout-out to Mauricio, who went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly, which made our meals even more enjoyable. We loved it so much that we ended up coming back for every meal during the two days we stayed in town!
Highly recommend this restaurant — it’s a true gem and an absolute must-visit if you’re...
Read moreNazca probably has the best almuerzo in all of Galapagos…which means I’m there anywhere from 3-5 times per week. The options for segundo are always unique and freshly prepared, plus now you have the option to have soup OR a salad, which is yet another great thing to set them apart from everyone else.
In addition to their almuerzo, I can’t say enough good things about their delicious lomo sandwich and their UNBELIEVABLE hummus and baba ganoush! I was spoiled with incredible hummus growing up, and missed it here on the island. But Nazca’s is absolute perfection packed with flavor, and the roasted vegetables make it a healthy yet filling option (something you can’t always find here.)
Every single meal is prepared with love and fresh ingredients. You really can’t go wrong with anything at Nazca, and the owners are the absolute sweetest people.
Also…wifi is really reliable here, which is always a plus...
