f you're looking for a dining experience that combines exquisite cuisine with breathtaking views of Galapagos wildlife, look no further than The Point. My recent visit to this gem of a restaurant left me utterly impressed and thoroughly satisfied.

Let's start with the food – simply put, it was divine. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, expertly crafted with fresh, local ingredients that burst with flavor. From the succulent seafood to the tender cuts of meat, every bite was a delight to the senses. The chefs at The Point truly have a gift for turning simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes.

But what truly sets The Point apart is its stunning terrace overlooking the ocean. As I enjoyed my meal, I was treated to a mesmerizing spectacle of marine life. Sharks, Turtles, Sea Lions, and Rays gracefully glided through the azure waters below, providing a mesmerizing backdrop to my dining experience. It's not every day that you can enjoy a gourmet meal while watching nature's wonders unfold before your eyes.

The service at The Point was also impeccable. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

In conclusion, if you find yourself in Galapagos, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to The Point. Whether you're a food enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply someone looking for an unforgettable dining experience, you won't be...

Will start with the good: very easy/short water taxi ride, very lovely atmosphere.

There was much more bad: we were a party of 9 with a reservation, 3 children (youngest was 5). We took the water taxi with a family of 6 who also had 3 children, the youngest was also ~5 years old. We were seated at the same time however the staff did not even take our order until after the other family already had their food! They left the restaurant around the time we got our food, which was nearly 2 hours after we arrived. We had to ask repeatedly to order food, and then where our food was multiple times. We had an early morning ferry so a 2.5h meal was quite frustrating. octopus was over cooked ceviche was salty cauliflower dish had raw greens mixed in with the cooked vegetable, even after picking it out I got gastro and have otherwise only been eating cooked food and drinking bottled water so while I can’t know for sure that this was the cause, I’m highly suspicious.

Shameful service and food...

After many recommendations to come here from locals, my girlfriend and I had a lovely dinner here last night. After hours of walking around the town, we went to the pier and waited about 2 minutes for a water taxi. It cost $1 to travel across the water, and we were dropped off right at The Point. We were greeted and seated immediately, with a spectacular view. We did not have a reservation, and there was seating available, with very intimate and cozy seats behind the shop away from the water side. We were assisted by Ignacio, who ensured all the sharks on the payroll paid us a visit along the water throughout our dinner. Everything we ate was spectacular! We are looking forward to coming back to enjoy the Christina cocktail again in the future 💖 The walkway for the other entrance was absolutely gorgeous at night....

We went on a recommendation from our host and it did not disappoint. As a vegetarian, we had limited options on actual menu but they were also able to make one the corn ceviche appetizer with mushrooms instead of tuna for me. Food was delicious, and my favorite was the corn yuca. Location is a great spot to enjoy the sunset. We got there just as they opened so we were able to get a table without reservation but I recommend getting one to make sure you get a prime location with water and sharks that like to swim in the area. They also took credit card without additional fees, which is much appreciated. Take the water taxi and have an amazing experience, you won’t regret it!
