Read moreWill start with the good: very easy/short water taxi ride, very lovely atmosphere.
There was much more bad: we were a party of 9 with a reservation, 3 children (youngest was 5). We took the water taxi with a family of 6 who also had 3 children, the youngest was also ~5 years old. We were seated at the same time however the staff did not even take our order until after the other family already had their food! They left the restaurant around the time we got our food, which was nearly 2 hours after we arrived. We had to ask repeatedly to order food, and then where our food was multiple times. We had an early morning ferry so a 2.5h meal was quite frustrating. octopus was over cooked ceviche was salty cauliflower dish had raw greens mixed in with the cooked vegetable, even after picking it out I got gastro and have otherwise only been eating cooked food and drinking bottled water so while I can’t know for sure that this was the cause, I’m highly suspicious.
Shameful service and food...
Read moreAfter many recommendations to come here from locals, my girlfriend and I had a lovely dinner here last night. After hours of walking around the town, we went to the pier and waited about 2 minutes for a water taxi. It cost $1 to travel across the water, and we were dropped off right at The Point. We were greeted and seated immediately, with a spectacular view. We did not have a reservation, and there was seating available, with very intimate and cozy seats behind the shop away from the water side. We were assisted by Ignacio, who ensured all the sharks on the payroll paid us a visit along the water throughout our dinner. Everything we ate was spectacular! We are looking forward to coming back to enjoy the Christina cocktail again in the future 💖 The walkway for the other entrance was absolutely gorgeous at night....
