Hostal Elizabeth. — Hotel in Parroquia Puerto Ayora

The hostal is a very clean, simple and cozy accommodation with just what a traveler needs to have a clean place to rest and to be able to visit places and activities since it is very close to everything. There is no reason to complain, because they also clean the room daily! The price is quite comfortable and affordable, and at the end of my stay they left my luggage with a tag with my name and the day I returned for my backpack, this helped me a lot to be able to visit another island without much luggage and so I only took what was necessary for another island!||Here their staff stands out, they are very attentive, friendly and helpful. It is first class service, they helped me with all the activities and they knew how to help me with a very detailed and informative map. If you are looking for a cheap hotel only to take a shower and sleep at the end of a busy day touristing in the island (our case), it is good enough and you should take it.||We stayed there for 2 nights and it was good because it's a very short walk from the port to the hotel and the service at the beginning was very friendly: they gave us a map of the island and suggested lots os things to do there. ||The room we booked was very simple: 2 fans (no a/c), very tight bathroom with no mirrors and no place for 2 peple to put their clothes on - which was fine for us because we mostly let our things in our backpacks.||If you want the comfort of your house, want to spend hours in the hotel to relax or really need some space to spread your personal belongings, it may not be an ideal choice. We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay in Santa Cruz. The stay overall felt really safe!

The location is perfect. It's close to the pier and it sits on the road where all the souvenir shops are.

The service is good. The girl at the reception is a little hard to understand. But she helped us with recommendations for food and also helped us get a ticket for the boat to the Isabella island.

The rooms are fine. The bathroom is a little small tho, You need to sit sidewards on the toilet.

The kitchen has a clean water dispenser. it's for everyone to use. The pans, plates and cutlery were dirty and/or damaged. Also the oven was broken. Maybe a little upgrade...
