Croissant d'Alexia — Restaurant in Alexandria

The place is cozy and nice and its location is great yet I need to share my experience. A croissant specialized place… First time I went and took a hazelnut croissant and a crème brûlé, we took them take away as the place was full and crowded. The staff was AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL and so random dressed and looking, opposite to the coziness of the place except of the only lady in the place. We waited for those two items to “get ready” 25 MINUTES yet they were in the βιτρίνα ready and fresh. No one ever gave us a receipt and didn’t even smile or said “thank you” or “sorry for the delay”. Both items were fresh and really tasty but all the experience is that matters. I thought of going again in an other time of the day cuz maybe it was rush hour and I went to give it second chance, the faces of the staff were different this time (maybe the other shift) yet they were even more RUDE and CHILDISH then those before. Ordered a croissant as it was great (take away once again as I wanted my mum to try it without going there and wait and get impatient cuz of their behavior) and I waited… again no receipt and 38 minutes of wait this time and guess what? I CANCELED it, it would have taken even more time to be ready! When I asked to cancel no one even asked why or apologized. Meanwhile the whole staff stands there doing their job soooo slow and an having so much fun with each other while clients wait for them to finish their jokes and do their actual job. To sum up! •Their products are FRESH and very TASTY yet overpriced. •Staff is maybe the more ARROGANT and CHILDISH I have ever seen. •Service is below average. •Menu not the same as products •Place is nice. •Prices are really really high ! So overpriced for what it offers as a whole experience. PS. The place smells of bakery (which is good and bad) but get ready to leave the place with that smell on your hair and clothes. Give it a try...

I tried the almond croissant my dad is a Professional pastries chef and it was like he made those croissants i have never tried good croissant like his and this was wonderful and it wasnt too sweet and the fact that they make pate au chocolate with dark chocolate makes this place my fav spot ever!!honestly idk why ppl are complaining about the place , friendly staff the decor is great,it is spacious, the food tastes wonderful and croissants are made of real butter and butter is expensive if it's not within your budget it's fine but No one has to say over priced it matches the quality this is not a loaf of bread or sth you can pick from a local bakery if it's not within ur budget go somewhere else simple no one is forcing...

Exceptionally baked croissants. Flaky and light with a think and beautiful lattice inside .

My mum and I ordered salmon croissant sandwich + plain croissant + pistachio croissant + 2 cappuccinos!

The pistachio was a great balance of sweetness and creaminess with a generous filling !

The salmon was fresh on a bed of cream cheese with herbs

Regarding price, they are slightly onthe pricier side, but also they used really good ingredients and put in alot of effort to perfect their craft . So for me I'd recommend this place as one where you go to treat yourself / loved ones to something that's made with...
