Gemini restaurant&Cafè — Restaurant in Cairo

We got here around 10 and made our order around 10:10 from the beginning they took too long to serve us but I let it slide, I had the pasta bolognese penne. I go out to make a phone call and then I come back, all my friends finished their food and we’re done but mine wasn’t even out yet. I asked the waiter he asked me to repeat my order and then he said the chef is making it “fresh”, what? It’s pasta of course it’s fresh you’re not gonna microwave pasta. Either way a few minutes pass and I go to get my friend from the gate, he orders the same order as me and he literally gets his order before mine. So to recap I ordered around 10:10pm and I got my food at 11:53pm and listen I can bear the wait time but the order was literally the wrong order, all I wanted after that was to leave and an apology, I didn’t want a refund for my drink or my friend’s food or anything I try to be as lenient as I can with waiters because I know what it feels like to be one but not even an apology I got nothing at all. We were having a great time at Mashma Al Masr promenade and admiring the beauty. We were also looking at menus for a later sit down meal. We liked the lamb options and were told they have great lamb options and great chef. We came back in a few hours and were asked to sit down and the we realized that 3 chairs were filthy and stained. The server changed the chairs and then we struggled to order. He then called someone who spoke English and he turned out to be arrogant. Initially he was trying to sell us beef as lamb and my wife does not eat beef. He then started to make up stories and after 15 mins we established there were no lamb dishes at all even though they were mentioned in the menu. He then started to push beef again. Very disappointed as we were owling to spend money and the prices were not cheap. We went to another joint nearby and they were more than happy to have our business. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. Today, the waiter spilled drinks on us, including on expensive bags and our clothing. The only response we received was a „sorry“. To make things worse, the owner presented us with a bill that included drinks we never received. We also had tourists with us, and the level of service we encountered was truly unacceptable.
