J&G Steakhouse Cairo — Restaurant in Cairo

Food was absolutely disgusting. No one bothered to ask at any point if we are enjoying our food or not. We came in and ordered the grilled octopus (extremely salty and the sauce its lathered in is gross), oily and overfried calamari, and the lobster bisque with the tiny piece of lobster sitting in a broth. We got to the main course and ordered 2 wagyu ribeyes and wagyu tenderloin cooked at medium and medium well . The wagyu tasted like it was frozen since last year and was extremely rubbery. Definitely not the textured buttery taste that usually accompanies the prized beef. Shame this restaurant and service resides in the St. Regis hotel, do not recommend their food and will not be visiting again. Waste of 8500...

I cant say food tasted bad but it was not wow even the steak i would eat a better one at any basic resturant nothing special about it, the disaster is the next morning i woke up all day from 8am to this comment having diarrhea, stomach ache, and when i called the hotel to complain no one got back to me except when i called twice, and the resturant manager is telling me just dont be into an illusion and next time you come just call me before making your order. What an experience J&G i would eat a steak at le pacha definitely would be better then claiming your the best steak...
