This place is the definition of a tourist trap.
Service:
The service was incredibly bad. The restaurant is clearly aimed at tourists and yet the waiter speaks no foreign languages. He then got three of our orders wrong, and the food took almost an hour to arrive, while the restaurant was mostly empty. He brought bread crackers while we waited, but forgot to bring the baba ghanoush until we were halfway through our meal. The restaurant staff were surly and annoyed whenever we asked them for something. It's a scam.
Food:
You're eating mediocre Egyptian restaurant food, served by waiters in bowties. The food is edible, which is the most I can say. The prices are vastly beyond the quality of the food; for the same price you can eat something spectacular somewhere else. They trick you by putting prices you'd see elsewhere without including the tax and service charges. Some of the food we had was clearly recently taken out of a freezer.

For 1st timer it can be a little intimidating but they allow you inside to view and are polite when some tourist chose to go elsewhere.
