Zitouni — Restaurant in Cairo

My expectations were high but they were very far from getting fulfilled. For the prices they have, one should ask for perfection but there were two pretty disappointing points:

They managed really bad the timings: 14.01h an appetizer is served 14.09h the mezze is served 14.20h the main dish is served 15.05h the dessert is served (45 minutes after the main dish, absolutely out of compass, especially after being so quickly with all the others) (I know exact timings since I take a picture of everything when served.)

The main dish (dolmas with grilled lamb chops) was terrific. For 450 EGY is unacceptable getting a totally carbonized lamb (grilled does not mean burned to carbon). See the pictures. The dessert was pretty random as well. Only the mezze met the expectations.

Good at: Atmosphere. Place is quiet, perfect for maintaining a good conversation without having to scream. Also well decorated Staff. They are kind Views. Some tables have really good views...

Firstly I want to mention that I though I forgot something in there. It was very special to me. They handle the situation professionally and I learn that I wasn’t left any belonging in there. They were super helpful and super kind. Like I was thinking that I am %100 sure but in the end I was mistaken… Still, they helped me a lot. Amazing staff, amazing manager, amazing security.

About the foods, foods was really good. Beefs especially. There were lots of desert choices. We ate kinda a lot. For the drinks it was very good too. I drank bellini and the amount of champagne was decent. And the scenery+service were good too.
