Elegance Grand City Hotel — Hotel in Cairo

When we reach there we found that we are in a small hostel not a hotel , the staff request our Egyptian ID then he found that our place of birth from the same city , he told us we can not accept you here however they are not mentioning that , we gave him our emirates ID to accept us , then he deduct the wrong amount and when we enter the room we found it’s opposite to the reception which is very Noisy and no any kind of privacy however we request a quite room to feel some privacy, after 2 min we got a call from the reception guy informing me that he need to talk to me outside when I went out he told me sorry we can not accept you in the room tell we got approval from police , and you have to go out from the room now , however he knows that I have my wife and this is eastern country which can not accept that way of treatment , which never happen in any hotel , I felt like I am in illegal place or I am taking with me a business girl from street with me , actually I refused the way he talks with me and all the documents he request to prove that I gave to him stamped from all the international institutions, this place is very bad reputation for Egyptian tourism , I don’t recommend at all , it’s unprofessional and not deserve the money even not deserve the name of HOTEL , room also was not have any type of hospitality service , no slippers no dental kit , and tell now they didn’t void the amount they took however the receptionist told me will void the transaction and will get my money back , the most bad hospitality experience ever I had , booking.com management must delete their account because we trust this big company and used...

I had an amazing experience at Elegance Grand City Hotelin Cairo. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome. They were warm, kind, and genuinely helpful, creating an atmosphere that felt like home. What impressed me most was that this wasn't just one or two people, every receptionist and staff member carried the same spirit. It's clear that this level of hospitality is not only part of Egyptian culture but also deeply rooted in the hotel's own culture.

The rooms were spotless, furnished with quality pieces, and very comfortable. One situation stood out to me in particular: I made a mistake with an extra payment without realizing it. The staff took the time to carefully explain the situation to me and, even though I hadn't expected any refund, they insisted on clarifying everything and returning the money. That honesty and dedication speaks volumes about how the hotel is managed and the kind of experience you can expect here.

Our experience at Elegance Grand City Hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The room was spotless, very spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in.

The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Nile corniche and surrounded by a calm, safe neighborhood, which made exploring the city even more enjoyable.
