If you're in Dahab and looking for an authentic Lebanese culinary experience, Restaurant Alpha is a must-visit. Since my first meal here, it has quickly become my favorite spot in the area. The quality of their Lebanese dishes is unmatched, and you can tell that each recipe is made with love and tradition.
One of the standout features of Alpha is undoubtedly the best falafel in Dahab. Crispy on the outside, tender and full of flavor on the inside, it’s an absolute treat you can't miss. The falafel here has a texture and taste that sets it apart from anywhere else.
Another favorite of mine is their salad, which is, honestly, the best I’ve had in all of Dahab. Fresh, well-balanced, and full of crisp ingredients, it makes every meal feel even more complete.
And I can’t leave out the hummus, which is simply flawless. Creamy, smooth, with just the right touch of olive oil – it’s the perfect accompaniment to any dish you choose.
Lastly, the service at Alpha is top-notch. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick, making every visit a delightful experience from the moment you walk through the door.
A special thank you to Chef Hamza, whose passion and dedication to authentic Lebanese cuisine shines through in every bite. His skill in creating such flavorful and authentic dishes makes every visit to Alpha memorable.

Read moreAbsolutely amazing food, all freshly made! The hummus was the best I’ve had in a long time, and the baba ganoush was incredible. The falafel? Hands down the best in Dahab — maybe even the best I’ve had in years. The za’atar bread was fantastic, and honestly, everything we ordered was delicious.
I came twice during my short stay and wish I could have come more! The tea was also actually amazing, the music added a great vibe, and Hamza, who runs the place is super friendly. The atmosphere is simple, relaxed, and welcoming — and the prices are unbeatable.
For me, this is easily the best restaurant in Dahab (aside from one great fish spot). I’ll truly miss it. Thank you for everything! ❤️ hope to eat your food one...
Read moreThe baba ghanoush had an unpleasant texture, with dry chunks of (insufficiently mixed?) tahini, also the serving size was less than what I get from other places, 35LE would normally be enough for a dinner meal when I combine it with bread - but not at this place. They also sprinkle some veggies on top, I would prefer 100% baba ganough instead, since the take-away container is too small to fit that...
