Nawaem Restaurant — Restaurant in South Sinai

Just another random stroll, looking for somewhere to grab a meal and just hit the road back to Cairo. We were headed to our usual favorite spot where we usually find our favorite restaurants when we by chance spotted the unique fresh looking setup of this palm trees covered place, we got curious, as we were attracted by the beautiful setup, the ecofriendly build and the green scenery thats taking over the restaurant's entrance. There was noway we couldn't ignore the welcoming vibes that place was emitting, so we had changed the plans immediately and took a leap of faith in trying something new.. we parked infront of the place and we entered .. and the call was right, the place was neat, the music was awesome, the ambience was heartwarming as was the food.. and about the food, let's just say, it was one of the best we ever tried in Dahab, if not actually the best, and there is a reason why i would say that, it's the ingredients, fresh, so fresh and bursting with flavor, there are secret twists everywhere, like the apples in the chicken curry! That was the best chicken curry plate ever! And the pasta was heavenly, it wasn't flooding with sauce, but it was flooding with tastiness, and it was very rich whether in portion size, flavor and chicken chunks! Truely magnificent, and it is also very recommended that you try all their appetizers, the butter calamari was so good, and the honey mustard sujuk will leave you speechless! We first tried Nawaem back in April 2023 and we were beyond surprised of the creative Menu (We were a group of 5 and were attentively served by Shady himself, a great Jordanian host who gave us a very good restaurant mood experience ) , there was also good music & live paintings exhibition and few art pieces on sale. However, 2 of us came back last Saturday 5th of August where we were left so disappointed and confused about how consistent this place can be. We ordered 2 Appetizers (Pesto Hummus & Spicy Potatoes cubes) and 2 main salads (Avocado Salad & Chicken Salad), All 4 orders were bland in taste and the potatoes cubes were so little & empty in density sleeping on huge amount of greenery. The place was empty, dull lighting (which is always a drawback for their spot) no music at all and we couldn’t communicate our concern to the waiter specially we were already too hungry to change our order.

This restaurant have huge potential to elevate their kitchen game, therefore I shout out high to the people behind it to focus and pull it...

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Dahab so far. The place is very cozy and the vibe is so chill. The food is not only done deliciously well made, it’s also done creatively, with interesting complementing twists that make the experience perfectly familiar yet innovative. We ordered the combo platter for starters; we picked chicken liver with pomegranate sauce, chicken wings with same sauce, sojok with honey mustard, and butter calamaris. For main course, we ordered the curry chicken pot and the Alfredo chicken pasta. We also had a beetroot and carrots cocktail.. Exceeding expectations, in both quality and quantity. There is so much beautiful detailing in everything.. the setup, lighting, music, the plants all around, the beautifully hand made serving plates, the aromatic and flavorful food and the art gallery in the place that adds one more touch into this lovely painting.
