The Vegan Lab — Restaurant in South Sinai

First of all I want to thank owners for creating this place in the heart of Dahab 🖤 fully vegan, with clean ingredients, just bravo 👏🏼 We dined in and had breakfast there during our entire stay. So we tried a lot of dishes from their menu and absolutely fell in love with salted caramel popcorn latte - in a chill evening it’s a drink for your soul. Everything we tried was from good to amazing and the place itself is very chill and cozy. Stuff is friendly and nice, since they cook everything from the beginning you will have to wait for 25-30 min for dish to come. We had two situations (out of 5 days eating there breakfast and lunch) when we didn’t like the dish and they were sweet enough to change it straight away. They also have a list of products they make themselves and guy can buy from them to use at home, like spreads, bread and cakes 🖤 Wish this place all the best and we will definitely come back,...

Terrible and rude service and lack of courtesy Only go if you wana waste your time

We arrived at 10.30 AM and it took 30 mins for the head waiter to take our order despite I repeated my request to place our order

Then also we were told that only one of us can order coffee because they don’t have enough

I asked how long will it take to get the breakfast, just few orders for 4 people, he said 30 mins I left to do an errand and he asked me to pay in advance and that he will call me once it’s ready as well

I arrived after 40 mins to find my food not ready and he casually told me they didn’t even start preparing it, and he was rude to enough to serve others that came after us and his excuse that they are understaffed and didn’t try to do anything to accommodate us or fix the situation

1 star for ambiente, location. 1 star for portion size. nice big :) 1 start for price. Is definitely on the pricier side but the ingredients they use (vegan cheese, cashew & vegan burger) are harder to get in Egypt. Of course there is no need to use those ingredients to cook delicious vegan food 😉

1 star minus for service. Restaurant is often not open as written on googlemaps and service is VERY slow and not really interested in the customers. Staff on phone or just talking with each other. 1 star minus for taste. (which should be the Nr. 1 reason to open a restaurant). Only tried the burrito and the pumpkin cake and was very disappointed. The combination tofu with those olives and sweet potatoes simply is not my taste. The cake was a bit too sweet for me. Not fair to judge from only eating two things but not really up to give it...
