I'm in love!
My first experience with ZANOOBA was 😍breakfast😍 I had Fava beans with butter ( foul bel samna el baladi) pastrami Omlette, scrambled eggs with sausages and for dessert a Fruitsalad crepe .The next morning i woke up at 7 and all I could think of were the beans and the eggs with sausages. Of course i had my breakfast for the 2nd day in a row at ZANOOBA's.
Before I get to 😍dinner😍 I have to mention KARIM the owner. He is the heart of the place . All you have to do is start a conversation with him and you will immediately realise why the food is that AMAZING. Someone with such dedication and passion can only serve such YUMMYness.
The Staff are very very friendly and competent.
I have to blame ZANOOBA's team for not being able to take pictures of my Breakfast. It was so delicious I completely forgot😅.
MY MISSION WAS AT LEAST TO TAKE PICTURES OF MY DINNER
My Dinner experience was GREAT! The atmosphere, the music and the staff were spot on . On that night, we went there unannounced and it was no problem although we didn't pre order. We decided to let Karim and Azazzi(The chef) choose what we should eat.
2 amazing pink lemonades were served. We got an apple salad to share😋 (I took a picture of the plate after we finished😅)
We got the Fattah with meat , Molokhya( i can't translate it but if you're at ZANOOBA's, ORDER IT!) and Sausages.
Guess what?! I finally succeeded in taking pics🥳
Although I had all those dishes many many times before , there is something special and different about ZANOOBA.
Unfortunately there are many other dishes, that sounded really good ,that I couldn't try. It won't be the last time.
Try it and you...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this lovely establishment, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food here is authentic and made with fresh ingredients, just like my Egyptian mother and grandmother used to prepare. We tried the beef, chicken, and apple salad, and they were all delicious. The meat was tender, and the flavors of the vegetables and spices complemented each other beautifully. The rice was also well-made, reminding me of the rice dishes I enjoyed in Egypt.
The portions were generous, ensuring that we left satisfied. We also ordered the ice cream with dadels for dessert. What an original and lovely dessert this was.
Karim, the owner, is clearly passionate about his food, and it shows in the flavors. He and his team provided excellent service, and their dedication to the culinary experience was evident throughout our visit.
One aspect worth mentioning is that the restaurant operates on a slow cooking concept, which means the food is prepared hours in advance. This speaks to their commitment to freshness and quality. So make sure to make a reservation.
Another highlight is that the salads are fresh and won't cause any stomach issues, which is a welcome change. It's refreshing to find a place where you can enjoy a salad worry-free.
In conclusion, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. I recommend making a reservation and enjoying the culinary delights prepared by Karim...

Karim’s passion for his kitchen is a badass passion, Which is good and bad, good since he will fix u food as if he is fixing it for his close friends, bad coz the place operates only 3 hours in z evening as food preparations takes up to 6 hours. Slow cooking technic is a type of culinary that is not to be found everywhere due to the time that each dish consumes to be ready, yet slow cooked food is the most delicious mouth watering and a happy feast anyone can experience. I first experienced Zanooba 2 years+ ago and after returning back, i can safely say there is no bad kitchen day in this place. Today we pre-ordered The Stuffed Roasted Duck (not recommended for ones wiz heart diseases nor diabetics .. its no joke). A beautiful crime dinner choice, perfect for a group of 4 and no need to add any sides, its a complete 3 courses dish. The duck was crispy on the outside yet tender inside while sleeping on a bed of veggies soaked in all the duck glazed juices secreted while slowly cooked. A highly recommended place to go, not prepared for walk-ins so make sure you pre-order a day before showing up, above average in terms of pricing but worth every penny and you will be served by Karim himself, the mind and heart behind Zanooba. Ahhh one last thing, You gotta try their homemade...
