I wouldn't call the place a hidden gem, but it is worth visiting if you are after seafood at a fair price and a somewhat less commercial experience. The owner is very friendly and does his best to keep the guests happy. Place is genuine and the quality of food is good. Everything is simple and rather plain, but as I said - genuine. My experience at Chef Ragab Seafood Restaurant was very wonderful. I ordered grilled mullet. The fish tasted fresh and the seasonings were very wonderful. We ordered the fried tilapia fish which was large in size and the taste was very sweet. It was served with fish. A bowl of curry rice, a fresh green salad and a very nice tahini salad. They served a bowl of shrimp soup. They served the main course with wonderful vegetables for free. I highly recommend the restaurant. genuinely hope this man grows his restaurant! The food was very nice with a great price -to quality ratio. As a tourist, it made me happy to be welcomed by someone with good hospitality and who's not trying to empty your wallet just cause you're not a local. I like the concept that it's within the garden of the owner, as it was very peaceful and private.
