Sabah w Masa — Restaurant in South Sinai

NEVER AGAIN EVER! This place claims to be an authentic Lebanese, however all of their menu items are tweaked (in a bad way tho) we were three and we ordered 3 fattah two humus and one makdos. After waiting for one hour, None of the items were as it should be and after a discussion with the restaurant owner we decided to change one if the orders. But i did not feel like eating from this place. So i politely asked the waiter not to order anything new for me and asked for the bill. The bill came without canceling the third item and yet the waiter brought the food to go! I said i’m not paying for this third item and the waiter response was that the owner said you should pay for it. So i asked to speak with the owner and told him i’m bot paying for food that i don’t like and that I haven’t eat! So he yelled at me abd said you will have to pay for so i maintained my ground and asked him to call the tourism police and that I’m waiting for them. 1 hour later, the waiter brought the check with the amended amount! RUDE/ THREATENING BOSS AND TRIED TO OVERCHARGE US

This is the only time I have ever felt the need to leave a negative review, the experience was awful.

We came to this restaurant with good expectations as it was recommended to us, but it was a very disappointing experience.

Once our food came out, we noticed a main part of the dish was missing. We asked and they said they didn’t have the ingredients. We were upset that they didn’t tell us before ordering as we were simply left with a plate of vegetable for 120LE.

The owner of the restaurant was then called and it was very difficult to get our money back for the dish or even an equivalent replacement. He was incredibly rude and difficult.

The boss was then later called to discuss the bill as they had overcharged us and at this point he started to shout and threaten us!

Even if the boss was incredibly nasty, our server was sweet and kind the whole time, which was the one...

Tourist trap. The food was okay, good even, but the service was terrible. We ordered a starter, two main courses and drinks. They brought us the drinks after maybe 15 minutes of waiting. Then we had to wait for maybe another half an hour for food - although we were the only guests waiting to be served. They brought the starters together with the main courses and they mixed up the side dishes. Seating was extremely uncomfortable. We were surrounded by busy tables with lots of people on both sides. That was supposed to be a romantic dinner for me and my partner - but instead we had to listen to the conversation others were having. There was also this annoying cat. It sat and meowed at us accusingly until we finished our meal. When they brought the bill, I saw they included a service charge. Simply terrible. I will never set foot...
