Shababeek Dahab — Restaurant in South Sinai

Don't go here - Food gave me diarrhea and stomach problems for days, almost ruining my other holiday activities in Dahab :(((

The only available toilet shares a space with the kitchen and there was no soap at all, so I assume kitchen staff also has no soap available after using the toilet.

It could have also been the creamy soup, because I had a lot of that, but my gf didn't - and she was okay. That said, she agreed that in general, the food was bad: We both arrived really hungry and so we ordered a range of different dishes - all of them were pretty tasteless, took a long time and/or arrived cold. We usually never toss food, but we left half of the food untouched because it was so bad, and went somewhere else for another dinner.

On top of that, I realize now from looking at the menu that they charged us a LOT more than we ordered. We just wanted to get out of there after the bad experience, so we didn't realize on the spot - but the bill was at least a couple hundred EGP too much. So I'd advice to check your bill properly if you decide to go there.

Added one star because the place indeed has nice vibes and decoration, but all in all it was a terrible...
