Updated on 30.07.2025 In spite of my bad luck with Dot pancakes and decaf coffee in March, I still come back to this place again and again. I appreciated that the owner reacted to my feedback back then and acted upon it. I just don't order pancakes. Thankfully, there are many things to choose from, with regular updates of the menu too. During my latest visit I enjoyed smoothie bowl with mango and passion fruit. I still find the price for a cup of tea with a teabag quite unreasonable, so I lately opt for matcha latte.

Original review: I've been a fan of Dot since its opening. The food is delicious, there are so many dishes that I like (dot toast, scrambled egg toast, shrimp toast, famous pancakes). Coffee is the best too, as it's Papermill (and you don't have to pay extra for decaf options). Great value for money. But there is one big BUT: you don't feel welcome there. The staff is not making any effort to be friendly (and clean tables fast), though they seem to enjoy...

What an interesting experience. What we experienced here truly taught us how strict Estonians are about the menu. The piece of bread on the breakfast plate was too small, so I wanted to order another one and the answer was: they can't offer it because it's not sold individually on the menu. I said, "My portion is still there but I need bread to finish it, I want another piece of bread, I'll pay for it." This situation ended after 3 different staff members got involved, and after they couldn't solve this huge problem, they apologized and called me to the cash register. Then I paid another 2 euros for two slices of bread, completely different from the one on the plate, and 15 minutes later, when my meal was completely cold, finally the bread arrived. It was a behavior you would never do to a pregnant customer in certain cultures. It was very interesting. In short, it's a situation where flexibility is completely nonexistent and customer satisfaction is...

To start your day, What would be the way? To enjoy the noon, Not to just wait for the moon. To enjoy every moment, While there still is a moment.

For this you need, Maybe a bit of caffeine? Or a lovely latte, a green Macha latte? Well then, hesitate not, There is a cafe called Dot.

A small cosy place, Brings smile to your face. Their coffee tastes great, Macha Latte is zen state.

Food for all tastes, Nothing goes to waste. Because even if you're full, You'll not be a fool. Pack it up, take it along, Because you'll need this taste to recall. That one sweet moment, When you felt so perfect. Every second - so worth it.

Dot Café is one of the coolest finds for me lately. I absolutely adore their drinks and menu. While not the most comfy place, also not for romantic dinner. For brunch or lunch? All that Dot is.

Amazing lunch...

I went to have brunch on Sunday. The place is located centrally and has a very hipster industrial vibe. The decor in white feels very pristine. I had a coffee, a poppy and almond pastry and the Dot cafe toast. The coffee was good. The poppy and almond pastry was very nice with just the right amount of sweetness. The toast on the sourdough bread was supposed to be with trout but I felt that it was with Salmon. It tasted very yummy and good. I loved the taste and would recommend to try this. The reason for the review being 4 star is the service. They were very friendly and courteous. I ordered the coffee and the food together and was told that the food might take some time, however the coffee took almost 30 minutes to arrive, which is a bit too much.
