I will not advise it for anyone but old people who doesn’t see much in the world. If you want to teach your kid about art, than do it properly. Just dig in some spicy info and tell him an interesting “once upon a time there lived an artist” story in the real museum. Adult tickets cost 10,5€. Exhibition located in the old house, one huge hall with brick walls, high cellar, old Woden floor and very fricking freezing cold!!! They have several watching sections with simple chairs, mostly each section have a small heater, but unfortunately only two works out of five. Lol. After about 20-25 minutes of watching it (7 March) my nose is running 😪🤧.
For me, who is more or less interesting in art and can admire and appreciate artist’s work this exhibition is kind of an insult. It doesn’t even nearly depict the real beauty of art. More over it even doesn’t have a plot, like what you guys wanted to tell us? What story you wanted to show? Soundtrack of some classical music doesn’t fit well all the time.
So, what I wish it has: normal inside temperature, like +20, not -3. 3D glasses more work with music Dolby sound or at least more neat work with left/right streamings plot, the story working heaters I can’t see with my back, so there is no need to make...
Read moreA lovely art installation with Monet, Klimt and van Gogh paintings animated and accompanied with music. The technology failed and one camera stopped working for a short while. There were too few chairs and some of them were a bit too close to the wall to be comfortable to relax and enjoy the show. The guys who sold tickets and greeted people were comfortable speaking English and Russian, but very little Estonian. The experience was totally different from anything I've ever seen before so I enjoyed it since I was one of the fortunate to be sitting down. There were quite a lot of us there and some people later complained that they felt sick because of all the movement on all sides. It did feel at some points like the floor was moving because of the moving pictures. So if you have a tendency to feel sick during a 3D movie, this probably isn't for you. I still liked it even though the price they're asking is a bit too high for what...
Read moreWe entered 14.15 to buy 2 tickets, the cashier said that at the moment it’s not possible. We were quite confused as it says online that you can enter any time. She proceeded to explain that actually we can enter, but we will only be seeing one show. If you go 16.15 then you can see 2 shows as Monet2Klimt ends and The world of Abstract Art starts - even though there is a time schedule online, it should then also state that or the cashier should make herself clearer. We still decided to enter, but were honsetly quite underwhelmed - the room was quite light and the shape/style did not make a lot of sense for a show like this. Even though I can respect showing your kids art, for us it was quite distracting having bunch of kids running and jumping around as the relaxation would’ve probably been the only redemption for the show. Definitely not worth the 12 euros, take it to...
