I spent about 6 days in Tallinn, and this restaurant elevated what was already an amazing experience tenfold. At first, I didn’t think much of it — the food was excellent, the ambiance lovely, but I thought it was just another great spot.

Then something unexpected happened.

The same person who greeted me, took my order, and brought my drink... went into the kitchen, cooked my food, and served it to me. I was flabbergasted.

As someone who worked in restaurants for over 7 years, I tried to process what I was seeing through a professional lens. When I finished my appetizer and received my main dish, I asked the host/waiter/chef if he was working alone — and he confirmed it. I asked how that was even possible. He smiled and said, “Estonian people are patient.”

I stayed a bit longer, chatted with him, and discovered he’s not only incredibly skilled, but also kind, funny, and easy to talk to. I left with such a strong positive impression that I came back two more times during my stay — and each time, it was just as fantastic.

Chef’s kiss to the chef. This was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it to anyone...

What an amazing find outside the Old town and just around the corner from the excellent food market, Balti Jaama Turg. We went initially for breakfast and the owner seems to be both chef, waiter and excellent host. The dishes, porridge and omelettes were excellent and made us want to go back for dinner later. Again the same host (also our chef and waiter) and more amazing food. We had a starter of goats cheese and salad and the shepherds pie and pork schnitzel for mains, all beautiful dishes and really reasonably priced. It seemed a crime that it wasn’t fully booked out but instead had a lovely neighbour feel with only a few tables and the chef coming down and cracking jokes whilst he served us the food or wine. Highly, highly recommend...

This place is truly magical. It was two minutes from our Airbnb so we decided to spontaneously stop by for a late lunch. We had the pesto pasta, the schnitzel, the duck, and the mille feuille for dessert. The attention to detail in the dishes did not go unnoticed and could be tasted in every bite. All run singlehandedly by the owner in the kitchen, this is such a hidden gem that I want to keep it a secret all to myself- but it’s so great that it also deserves to be known by the world. Extremely fair prices, especially for the portions. Fresh ingredients, and lovely decor and ambiance. Please visit if you have a chance! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Flower Garden for a great way to end our trip...

My main issue - terrible waiting time. Was there at 11:30 on Friday, about three tables were taken, and had to wait an hour for a breakfast menu item. It was a shoking waste of time. Also, in all that time nobody cleaned the dirty dishes on the neighboring tables. As I understand, the was only one person working all jobs. Another waitress turned up as we were leaving. Maybe it was a one-time thing, or maybe they're just generally understaffed, but I wouldn't recommend the place after my experience. Food-wise the place is fine. I had an omelet with mushrooms and cheese - was good, nothing fancy, but well-cooked. Came with a salad, which was great, and toast, which was simple toaster bread. Coffee is also good.

We were wondering around the area as another restaurant didn't have space for our biggish group. We were incredibly surprised how well we were taken care of. There was only one person working and he made it look easy to make all the food we got. The food was top notch and our group had a pleasant time. We shared the opinion as a group that the food was a tier above around the other restaurants with great reviews around the central area. I recommend taking the eggs benedict or omelette, they were amazing. The sizes were quite large, so be careful with that! (who wouldn't like that?)

I had the pleasure of being served by the head chef and owner, Vjatsheslav Nikolaitsuk. Some places stand out because of that personal touch - and this visit was one of those moments. We exchanged a few words and even shared a quick joke. It’s the little things like that that can really brighten your day. I had the eggs Benedict with Serrano, a coffee, and some napoleon cake (with jam). Loved all of it. The rating says the rest. I’ll definitely return if circumstances allow - it was a planned visit specifically to try this place out, and I’m glad I did.
