Restaurant Türgi BBQ (Turkish) — Restaurant in Tallinn

The food: There was a tiny hair in my soup. I was taking it out thinking it was my own. The waiter noticed this, I told him it was probably mine. He didn’t propose to change it and accepted it as I said. After the rest of my experience, I was convinced it was not my hair. The ‘Beyti kebab’ was awful. Wrong herbs in the meat. Some rasped cheese to make it look filler has no business in this dish. There was a piece in the meat that was unchewable.Probably bone or something. It was cold. The rice was the worst ever. Not fresh. Out of the fridge and heated in a pan which made it hard to bite and all of the rice was still sticking to eachother.

The service: There was another customer vaping inside. I asked the waiter if smoking was allowed. He said no. Pointed the guy out on which he told me that vaping is not smoking. I did not contine to eat. Told another waiter to make the guy stop vaping or that I would only pay for my soup and leave. He went to make the vaper stop.

The atmosphere: So the vaping guy was one of a group of people at a table in their 50’s. The whole table was full of Efes beer. It was clear that they were there for this superb Turkish beer. But it’s a family restaurant. There were children at the table next to theirs. They were so drunk that they needed several attempts to stand up for the bathroom or to go outside. After a while the valing guy also started vaping again.

I had really tasty food, baklava and tea . I like it so much. I am definitely suggesting you to try food ,coffee, tea, dessert in this restaurant. And also they have market inside you can look and buy some Turkish products. The owner of restaurant is so polite and warm people. Everyone is really friendly - welcoming and nice. The terrace in the back is cozy to sit…

The food is to oily for me. The meat was okay but feels a bit heavy. The veggies on the plate - like tomatoes and cucumbers look already Old, like sliced early on the morning not fresh. The fries are tasty but not crisp.

It comes with bread and the bread was tasteless, cold and not special.

Dip was quite tasty.
