I went here for a lunch. Already making a reservation for 1 person resulted in an unorganised confused call back to confirm if I made a reservation for only 1 person. When I arrived there were two sections in the garden - one moderately busy but left with some tables and one totally empty. The waiter very kindly suggested I sit on the empty side since I’m alone and it will be enough for me. Not the service I expected. I requested a blanket as I was seated but never received that. I ordered water which also never arrived. I ordered a bread basked and the entrecôte. The main course arrived 3 minutes after the starters. I ordered the entrecôte medium rare and received it well done. Not once did the staff bother to ask how my meal is. While making the reservation I mentioned it was my birthday. A good service staff would take note of that. However it was completely ignore. Actually in this category of restaurant a good waiter would ask if there is any special occasion. But too much to expect if the waiter does not even check once if the food is okay. The bathroom toilet was clogged which also did not seem to bother the staff. Receiving the bill took way more time than I had between my two courses. Overall terrible service with mediocre food at most. However the...

We had heard many positive feedback of Mon Repos and decided to have a Saturday lunch there with my friend after visiting the beautiful Kadrioru park in July.

The weather was beautiful, so we took a table outside. The surrounding garden with all the flowers blooming, and the beautiful restaurant building itself were absolutely stunning.

Waitress greeted us and brought the menus immediately but I have to say the service was even a bit too fast - we didn’t even manage to take a proper look at the menu when she came to ask if we were ready to order but came back later when we told we need a little bit more time to think. There is plenty of interesting items on the menu so it really was difficult to choose!

My friend chose the mussels and said the dish was perfect. I had a salmon with mashed potatoes and it was really delicious. The bread and seed cracker served as appetizer were really good as well. I enjoyed a rhubarb soda with my meal and loved it. The prices were reasonable but they charged 5€ from a bottle of still water which I find rather expensive.

I wonder how beautiful the place would look in the evening. Also the interior was beautiful and probably very comfortable during colder days. Good reason to return, which I surely...

Should be a high class restaurant? The reality is different. It's an average restaurant. I don't know what or from where the reputation comes from. I visited today Mon Repos restaurant. The area is awesome in Kadriorg area. The building looks awesome and interesting. However don't be fooled by it's look because the food and service is far off the real restaurant experience .... And I'm not even going that deep into details. We ordered snacks for two with wine. The waiter never explained the details about the food they have. Especially about the details of the jam and that olives come with seeds. The wine card was average and expensive. The burger cutlet was half raw, not spiced and the onions plus buns didn't have any character. Easily comparable with a kiosk burger. The service was a bit off because it lacks professionalism and the way how to connect with customers. Nothing compared to real restaurants. In the end the bill was given equal to 90 euros for something that is easily comparable with Telliskivi cafes which are a lot cheaper, tastier and better service. I think the restaurant needs experienced staff and stop giving work to students. Otherwise the future is really...

We’ve been occasional visitors of this restaurant for years. In the past, it consistently offered premium food at a reasonable price—higher than average, but worth it—paired with top-notch quality every time. Unfortunately, recently, it’s become hit or miss. The restaurant still has a wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service, but the consistency in the kitchen has declined. During our latest visit, everything was excellent except for the duck, which was overcooked. However, the prawns and everything else on the duck plate were still delicious. In my opinion, given the recent inconsistency, it’s no longer worth the price.

One of the best dining experiences we had during our 5 weeks travel. Staff were amazing since we walked in. She was friendly and very efficient. We came across the venue after a museum visit nearby. We were lucky able to walks in. Food was excellent. The starter popcorn prawns especially the sauce was fresh and tasty. My duck was tender with a creamy truffle potato mash and berry juice. I loved the potato. No wonder they received a Michelin which is well deserved. Overall we enjoyed our dining here and a nice way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you! ☺️
