Place was very fancy and nice. Love music was going on via piano and saxophone, which was great. Prices are expensive for Ethiopia. Place was nice. Food was very tasty too.

Why the 2 star? We have ordered 2 dishes both under 300 bir but when bill came it was 335 and 325 bir, plus 10% surcharge (not sure why), plus 15% tax (not sure of this is the case for restaurant or fancy restaurant). So my bill for 2 pasta dishes and a bottle of water - $880 bir.

So I think I got ripped off (and didn’t say anything as language barrier), but I knew I would post a review so that either they stop ripping people off or tourist don’t go. Buyer beware. I won’t go again nor do...

The ambiance is beautiful… It gives Italian vibes… Service is a bit slow, language barrier can be a hindrance but they try overall. I had the chicken “special” The accompaniments (mashed potatoes & vegetables), were a bit cold. The Pineapple Juice is elite ! Really good freshly squeezed. Helen went above & beyond to make my experience extra good. Because of her, I give 4 stars otherwise I would have given 3.

Love the vibe of a dinner/jazz club. The chicken special was well worth the price - the portion was large enough to feed two and it was so delicious! The pasta was cooked perfectly. The bruschetta is also delicious.

I felt the service was great - they were very kind and attentive.

I ordered the gnocchi as well and it was very dense and not fluffy. I would say skip the gnocchi, but definitely...
