ATMOSPHERE: Nice size space in a new strip mall called South Maui Center which is on the east side of Lipoa Center. Dark decor but very inviting, very spacious with a big bar. FOOD: Caesar Salad Holy bageezuz I've found my new favorite creator of this run-of-the-mill salad. Available in side or full sizes, all the Romaine leaves were bathed in their perfectly creamy dressing that wasn't fishy or tart, but deliciously just right. I haven't had a dressing this tasty in years. Instead of traditional croutons came 2 spears of crunchy focaccia crostinis. Linguine Alle Vongole Very, very bland. The broth at the bottom of the dish had a deep garlic flavor but not much else; no saltiness or butteriness. The pasta was just plain tasteless. The clams were good. At first I declined having grated cheese added to my seafood dish - a big no-no in Italy - but after having zero flavor on my buds I flagged down the server for some. Well, a lot actually. Spaghetti Bolognese I was hesitant about ordering this as too many places make theirs sweet which is totally gross to me. A few fellow Yelpers mentioned the taste as "spot on" and "perfect". I even asked our server who denied it being sweet. Sold. And hot damn, what a killer dish it was! The sauce had the perfect consistency - meaty, a little wet, but not drowning in sauce. And best of all, it was NOT sweet but perfectly balanced with a little salt and hint of sweetness from the tomatoes' natural flavors. The pasta was al dente, and the dish came out piping hot and stayed that way the whole way through, a first for me! The portion was generous and the price affordable. Highly recommended. Penne Rosa Their version of a vodka sauce, done with mainly tomatoes and onions. The two forkfuls I tried were good, but there wasn't enough tomato flavor or salt. The dish needs some kind of salty meat like prosciutto or cheese to give it some life. The Maui Meaty All the pizzas are one size, with a thin, chewy crust. This version was topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and honey ham. It was tasty but a little too salty from the meats. I'd definitely try other toppings next time. SERVICE: Consistently good throughout the years. OVERALL: Extremely tasty caesar, bolognese and good pizza. Good portions & affordable. A definite return!

As a an ex-customer of Fabiani’s for almost 2 years, with an annual expenditure of around $6000, it’s with disappointment that I write this review. Our experiences have generally been positive until recent incidents raised concerns about quality control and food safety. Instances such as missing croutons in a Caesar salad or incorrect pizza preparations, or not accepting our order and making us wait for extra 40 minutes just to find out our order was not accepted were minor. However, discovering a cooked cockroach in our pizza today is alarming and unacceptable. This incident not only breaches basic food safety but also erodes the trust we had in Fabiani’s. We hope this feedback prompts a thorough inspection and improvement in quality standards to regain customer confidence. UPDATE. Alleged violation of Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA): Following my initial review regarding the unfortunate discovery of a foreign object in our meal, I reached out to the establishment to address the issue directly, hoping for a constructive resolution. Regrettably, the response was disheartening. Instead of addressing the concern raised or discussing potential remedies, the decision was made by the pizzeria to inform us that our patronage would no longer be welcome. This reaction, rather than focusing on resolving a genuine health and safety concern, appears to prioritize silencing and excluding customers who provide honest feedback based on their experiences.

We went for dinner at 5:30 on a Sunday evening and there were very few patrons. It did fill up more as the evening went along. Order at the counter but once you are seated, your server brings real plates, very heavy duty paper napkins, and plastic water glasses. You can sit outside under a shade cover with wind protection around the sides and no chickens or sparrows. Or choose to sit inside in the AC. N-A drinks appear to be only bottled, canned or juice boxes ... nothing from the fountain. Garlic bread is an appetizer that you order from the board, extra $ for cheese on top, extra $ for marinara. If you like thin crust pizza, then this is a real delight. It truly had a perfect crunch--was not soggy. The pasta in our lasagna was delectable. It truly just melts in your mouth. You can tell that all of the marinara is very fresh. They offered freshly grated cheese on both our pizza and lasagna. We ran out of water twice. Because you don't really have a server, just someone who brings your meal to the table with your number on it, I guess no one is watching. Once we asked though, she brought it right away. Overall, our server was very good and our food came promptly. We had to go back to the counter to order and pay for dessert because we weren't sure when we originally ordered if we would "have room." Even though the dessert is in a refrigerated case at the cashier, you do have to go back to your table and wait for it to be brought to you.

TLDR: Sbarro’s, Fazoli’s, Spaghetti Factory…ANY AND I MEAN ANY OF THESE SERVE BETTER FOOD. Go to the airport instead of here if you want overpriced terrible food. Order: Caesar salad: B+ (good dressing, crisp lettuce but for $12, would at least expect fresh Parmesan) Garlic Bread w added cheese and side of marinara: B (bland mozzarella, minimal garlic flavor and lack luster marinara) Quattro Pizza: FAIL, total FAIL…I’ve never had pizza that is both too crispy AND soggy at the same time. Bland crust and very little chew. The toppings were placed as seen in the photo below. It’s almost laughable. All on top of a thin layer of cheap shredded cheddar cheese??? The picture tells you everything. Also added ricotta for additional charge. Nowhere to be found. Spaghetti and meatballs: C-…unseasoned pasta. Unseasoned marinara sauce. Bland meatballs. Some of the hotel workers told me that Fabiani’s used to serve decent food until it got bought by another owner which has resulted in a slow decline exemplified by the recent closure of their Wailea location. I am not surprised one bit. Don’t repeat my mistake. You’ve been warned.

We had a very disappointing experience at Fabiani's. We came in almost an hour before closing. Yet, 15 minutes after we placed the order a server came to inform us that they had "run out of 14 inch pizzas (thick crust)". While they offered to "make two 12 inch pizzas (thin crust) for us", it should've been conveyed at time of order. After a long wait, we were served the pizzas - for the veggie pizza, instead of red bell pepper we spotted mushrooms. When we pointed out the discrepancy to the server, she first rejected it saying it is the right combination before proceeding to check the menu herself. Then, she simply took away our plates without communicating anything and returned with the same pizzas with just the mushrooms removed. A ranch side we'd paid for also had to be requested again before it was served. Incorrect pizza style, incorrect toppings, and poor customer service, all combined to make this a forgettable experience for us :(. Attaching photos of the pizzas before & after and our order receipt.

Called in a take out order that included penne with meatballs. Got home, no meatballs. Don’t feel like we should have to check order before we leave. Wife called and could barely get a word in edgewise. The woman working there said, “I make mistakes…Im sorry, but you weren’t charged for the meatballs.” Place was 15 minutes from where we are staying. When we picked up the order she was busy talking with another employee and it wasn’t busy. It’s a shame that that time wasn’t used to double check our order. Food was mediocre and over priced for what we received. Service was awful. No offer for free dessert or make it right with the meatballs. Never again. $17 for plate shown in pictures-penne and sauce.
