Epic Maui Hikes — Attraction in Maui

Update (July 2023): After they reached out via email as their response, I called them but was unable to reach them on multiple occasions over a few weeks. After I sent another email advising this, they asked me to leave my number which I did, and never received a call.

Booking and price matching (to Viator) was completed very easily and efficiently with Amira via the Epic Maui Hikes direct website.

We had Zak as our tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable to Hawaiian history, culture and flora. The drive was windy and he drove relaxed on the way in to Hana which helped myself and y infant son cope well with the drive. We had brought our rented car seat as Amira had advised that they only had a booster seat available. We were introduced to nice local stores and eateries along the way and it was great to be able to spend as much time as we wanted at each stop. It was a good time though we were unfortunate to miss the waterfall for swimming as it had started raining and my son had fallen asleep on the way back.

The reason for giving less than 5 stars is that the inclusions as per the website didn't match what we received. We booked this tour price matched to their same tour on Viator. The tour was noted as a private tour, with inclusions of snacks, lunch, photography, GoPro videography, and water.. looking over the description again, it says Maui's best banana bread and souvenir is also included. Whilst we did get 2x apple bananas for a group of 3 in the morning, all other snacks and our lunch we paid for ourselves. We were quite dehydrated by the end of the day (luckily we brought a bottle, and I don't think my husband had any water all day) and were only advised of the water that was provided after 3pm on the day when we were rounding up to head back. It was lucky we brought 1 water bottle and snacks for my son, as I'm not sure how my son would have handled it otherwise. If we hadn't brought our own GoPro, I'm not sure that we would have had photos of our experience though Zak was happy to take photos when we asked. Before booking, I did see there were some tours for $100USD less (and did not include adult prices for my infant son) which we could have done so I'm just a bit disappointed. Otherwise the tour...
