Best Coffee on Denarau by FAR! Located in the lobby/foyer of the Sheraton Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau, this place has somehow managed to maintain a coffeehouse feel and quality in this rather mundane/cookie-cutter Sheraton. When we're here for one of many conferences (this being the biggest conference facility in Fiji, and now I think of it the South Pacific outside Australia and New Zealand), it is a godsend to be abkle to avoid the lack-lustre urns of conference coffee and nip round the corner to 28degrees for a real coffee. Now it has been sealed in with air-conditioning, it a quiet haven in a rather noisy hotel lobby, and a great escape to sit down and catch up o your laptop or phone during the day. Fast efficient service with all option commonly found like soy, almond, skim milk and the likes. Staff know and understand all the common coffee terms and make a MEAN double espresso :) Be aware this is a cashless facility though, so...
Read more28g is situated in the lobby of the Sheraton Golf & Beach Resort on Denarau Island, Fiji. We weren't staying at this particular hotel, but you can still dine in any of the restaurants at the Sheraton, and grab coffee at 28g.
We were only on the island for two days but we came here both days - best coffee on the island! Service was also excellent, and the vibe is brilliant - perfectly easy to sit and relax there for a bit. On the second/last day we were chatting and mentioned it had been my husband's birthday - next thing you know, the staff surprise him with a song and a birthday cake! Made our already fantastic holiday perfect.

Read moreA little on the pricey side for anything other than a standard coffee. Filled bread rolls were huge. We had the apple & caramel crepes, were quite nice. The shop looks tidy and although it looks like the coffee should be good... I've been several times and the coffee wasn't to my liking, tasted very "ashy" and had an unpleasant tangy aftertaste similar to expired milk. ( not saying that's what it was) I've since found much better options...
