Restaurant Konnichiwa Kamppi — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Haven't visited the lunch buffet for over a year but the quality has decreased significantly (my previous rating was 4 stars from 2019): The rice didn't have the balanced vinegar taste quality normal sushi has The shrimps on top of the sushi were dry to say the least They had also some ready plates of sushi with a cover coming from the kitchen, I would say portion of the sushis they either prepare or offer from the previous day as it didn't taste fresh overall the sushi did not taste fresh This is not a review from just me but our group of 3 persons. Just read some recent reviews and I am not the only one to notice a clear difference in quality between 2019 and today. Hope you will regain the quality...

This is one of my favorite sushi places of all time. Their buffet is really amazing. I decided to try the new Baikingu menu today, and it was a lot better than I expected.

Though the servers were a bit confused about the system, which is natural considering it’s new. Our problems were quickly solved and they even gave me a nice discount. The menu itself is worth the price, as the food was a lot fresher and they offered more option.

The only serious issue with my experience was the atmosphere. I was seated near the other tables that had Baikingu as well. And I got to say that they were super loud and obnoxious. It would be better if I get to seat...

It's ok. I went for a lunch buffet but staff was quite loud and sushi had way too much mayonnaise and sauces on them. Scrape those off and sushi is actually quite good for the price (12.50€). I just can't understand why they are ruining the sushi with all those sauces, customer can always apply sauces themselves. I wish I had taken an picture, but there's probably some pictures already. If staff wasn't so loud and sauces, especially mayonnaise was not overused I would have given restaurant 4.5 for the price as selection was pretty good and restaurant was otherwise nice.

PS. I assume white mayonnaise like sauce was mayonnaise, but what I said...
