Luckiefun’s Sushibuffet — Restaurant in Rovaniemi sub-region

In general, this place is ok for hot Asian food and Sushi. Many times when the customers arrived to this restaurant, they have to wait quite long before the workers noticed that and go out from the kitchen to take the order. I think is a little bit pricey with the quality and the amount of the food they have in this restaurant. There was not much options for sushi and sometimes, the sushi is dried and not fresh at all. The hot food is so oily and I think they used the frozen vegetable to make the stir-fried dishes in their restaurant. It was a while since my last time eating here, but according to my experiences, the workers/cashier ( maybe she is the owner or just the normal worker there) was taking care of her son in her work place. And the kid was running around, crying and making noises in front of so many customers (including my friends and I). The most horrible thing was that I saw the kid using his bare hand, taking the food from the food warmer and eating right there, then through that piece of food back the the tray.

I will never going back to this Lucky's fun in Rovaniemi again in my life and definitely not recommend this restaurant for anyone!

P.S: If you are here, please do not try the Salmon tom yum soup that they made from the leftover salmon when making sushi! It taste fishy, super sweet and not...

Was visiting Rovaniemi for first time and this is the first food place I chose. What a horrible mistake. 18 euros buffet left me feeling like I was just robbed. The miso soup, the sushi selection and taste was utterly disappointing. Worst tasting sushi so far I have had the pleasure to try. Noticed also interesting phenomenon that they seem to pressure the rice of sushis, so that they contain much more rice than their competitors. Its clearly they want people to be full of rice only, rather than other ingredients. After all this I was about to get some pepsi to lessen my disappointment, but the machine only gave some brown water that looks like very suspicious tea with bubbles. After that I had decided it was time to leave after unfulfilling lunch, and realised even for 18 euros you still have to clean your table for yourself. That was definitely the last straw. I wanted to review this place as I think it's received a lot of unfair reviews. We went there about 6pm and they close in an hour or so. Had a look at what's on offer and was told it was half price but no more food will come out. We were starving so just decided to go for it.

Considering the food was the last of the day, it was actually surprisingly very good quality and I've had a lot of sushi in my time. You can tell it is fresh as the rice was soft and even the deep-fried items like the prawn or the deep-fried sushi, they were still crispy!
