Went on a Tuesday afternoon and a friend had recommended this place to me before. Quiet and peaceful- only a couple other customers there around 14:00, had my lamb meal presented to me and it was a large portion. Got my meal within 10 minutes. Definitely recommend squeezing the lemon slice all over as it really brought the flavours out in the meal. Got charged 1€ extra for rice so total price was 14€. (I feel this should be advertised accordingly or advised when purchasing but couldn’t be bothered to question it.)

A great spot in the center of Turku if you’re looking for a tasty and very filling meal. The portions are huge and delicious. If you sit on the terrace, be ready to share the moment with some seagulls — they’re definitely part of the experience! Tea, ayran and flatbreads came as a bonus. The place was busy, but the food came quickly. I definitely want to come back — to try something new and to eat those amazing flatbreads again!

The staff at Slemani are very welcoming. After a long day of sightseeing I entered the kebab house expecting a hearty delicious meal and that's exactly what I got. It is the most value and flavour you will get for your money in Turkuu. Each main also comes with free soups (as seen in the photo), home made flat bread, ayran and çay. Would definitely eat here regularly if I lived in Turkuu.

A great spot in the center of Turku if you’re looking for a tasty and very filling meal. The portions are huge and delicious. I regret to report that I have encountered a significant service issue for the third time, specifically regarding the omission of rice from my order. They dont know how to make order's..

The staff member at the front desk appeared to lack the necessary training to accurately process orders.

Furthermore, when I approached the counter to request the missing rice, her demeanor was unprofessional and discourteous.

Additionally, I observed that she frequently used her mobile phone while attending to customers, which detracted her from the overall professionalism 🤒 On a positive note, I would like to commend the culinary quality of the food, which remains...

Amazing meal, authentic food, and nice atmosphere. This is not your typical Finnish döner kebab place. This is a proper middle eastern restaurant serving biryanis, kuftas, kubbas, shawarmas, and shish kebabs, charcoal-grilled, and served with flatbread baked in a tandoor. There's baklava and muhallebi for dessert in the unlikely case you still have room for that. The ayran is refreshing and delicious, service was quick (at least around 17:00 on a Saturday, despite the place being packed), and the prices are simply cheap. Can't wait to come...
