Horrible experience of rudeness, verbal abuse and total aggression from our waiter. We went there and he said there are only two dishes left to choose from, lasagne and something else, so we said no thanks and ordered a drink. Then when paying for the drinks he pressured us to order food then got abusive, the reason being because he thought we were eating and we wouldn't have been welcome there if we weren't going to eat. He even said he would call the police and they would make us pay the price of a meal there! Which doesn't make legal sense to me.

I'm confused because the lunchtime staff in the place next door were lovely the previous day and I'm not sure if it is connected. I originally wanted to go there, and not deal with this...

Worse experience ever! Ordered gnocchi with truffle sauce, i explained I don’t eat ham. Plate arrived with ham, I explained I couldn't eat it, even if it was scraped off! The owner tried to make me pay for two dishes if if I wanted one made from scratch without ham. We refused to pay for two meals as i had already said no ham when ordering , he was quite frankly hostile. The other staff were pleasant and apologetic. It's a shame because my food was okayish when it finally arrived, it's a more rustic offering than gourmet, there are far nicer places to eat in Aix. I do appreciate misunderstandings can happen, especially if French isn't your first language, its they way they...

We were 4 and tried to order 2 mains and some wine, but got told that the minimum was one plate each. We were a bit unsettled as the order looked quite substantial, so we asked for one minute to decide what to do. We decided to leave. Our mistake, for which we apologize, was to leave without telling the waiter (we had only got tap water to that point).
