I'm sure the staff are nice ... if you are French.
I've never had such bad experience, what's worse is to see waiters and waitresses praise the French guests, while ignore you, provide less than basic services and make fun of you with other guest
We stayed in the hotel, so decided to have a casual dinner.
I asked some basic questions to which the waitress said she doesn't know, but will get back to me after she asked her colleagues.
After long wait No.1, a rude waiter dumped all our dishes on the table, including starter, main course and side dish, left without saying a word.
We were shocked and tried to ask a waiter that serving the next table for some water, which is served on all other table. He said ok, nod his head and turn back to the French guests he was serving, complaining how foreigners like us are rude.
Made us feel like we are so stupid that he can just make fun of us in front our face.
After several attempts to ask for service and long waits, another waiter came and explains that he is the only one who speaks English in the restaurant, all the other waiters we talked to before didn't understand anything...
By then we just want to get out of there, but unfortunately we had to wait for another half an hour to get the bill.

Read moreDisco with food and food with disco. The food was very good, tasty and all the meals were well done and really pleasant: duck, sausage, bavet, all was excellent. The service was attentive and accurate, the waiter outside was outstanding with his gentle ways. You walk inside and its very loud funk-soul music which powered basses. It gets unpleasant, it feels like consuming energy drinks and you wanna know, do they actually want you to dance on their tables? What is the purpose? Do NOT consider having a decent conversation, no! The disco music from all sides is dominant and its wanted. My question for more modesty in terms of maybe combining music with conversation and digestion (!) was answered with a pityful smile. Its highly recommanded for hyper active mentalities that go for high pitch beating. Its in a row with a couple of bars in Aix that desperatly try to attract people with that too much wanted partying mood. If it works? I will never ever come back - but for...
Read moreI ate here twice during a short trip to Aix. The first time I had the Rigatoni with Morelles ... it was supurb. So full of flavor. The second time I ordered the chicken with Morelles. My food arrived quite cold! A few bites were warm, and some of it was totally cold. The restaurant was very busy, and the waiter frantically running around and I was unable to get his attention to ask to have the food heated. He never came over to check it everything was OK. In general, I the restaurant and service felt frantic. The waiter serving me was doing his best, but my impression is that you need a larger staff! I was unable to get his attention for quite a while to order dessert, then took a while for him to bring the menu, and then a long time to come back for my order, so I gave up on dessert and asked to pay. That also took along time. As said earler, you...
