Glad we made this place the 1st place to eat in upon arriving Aix en Provence. Doesn't look much from the outside but once you get through the main door into the little outdoor garden/backyard, the entire atmosphere changes. Food is probably one of the best in Aix en Provence. Would strongly recommend getting there early or booking to avoid disappointment. We were really lucky to arrive early. Staff doesn't speak much English (not their fault) but is very accommodating and tries their best to help you out with menu and ordering. Recommended wine choices are also amazing. Found this place by my own personal research and later discovered other guide books had mentioned it, so we knew we were in for a treat! We didn't make a resy but strolled in around 21:00 on a Thursday night and was immediately seated. Was greeted by the husband-wife team. Super sweet and felt immediately at home. Recommended a wonderful provence red wine. We had one starter and two meals. Fantastic balance of taste and savoriness. Honestly, I was trying to eat the meal as slowly as possible but failed because it was so delicious.
