We had a really unpleasant experience in this restaurant. Yes, we found a hair in one of the plates, but that wasn't the whole story. The waiter( owner?) was extremely inattentive for the standards they are obviously dreaming to keep up with. There was a moment I took the wine bottle and wanted to pour a glass of wine. The waiter was passing by, saw that, hastily grabbed the bottle from my hand and poured him some wine... but he poured it in a glass which already contained water (because in this restaurant water glasses and wine glasses look the same). Of course, the waiter( owner?) didn't notice his mistake and went on about his business, leaving me with heavily diluted wine.
And the hair, yes. We found the hair in our food, but we were already so disappointed with the inattentive staff that we decided to inform the waiter about the hair only if he gave us at least a bit of his attention—if he asked us if we were satisfied, if we needed anything else, at least something like that. None of that happened, so we express our discontent in this review.
Side note, if you are still curious about the food here—it was quite good, but nothing spectacular. I recommend avoiding the place- it seem to exist just to take me net...

Loved the outdoor seating, along with the other restaurants, on a small charming street. There were some seating indoors as well. Recommend booking your reservation about 7:30 or 8:00 PM to enjoy the light going down & eventually turning dark to soak in the atmosphere. Do slather on bug repellent as the critters can come out during the warm evenings. Of course, outdoor seating in France does mean you may get a smoking neighbor seated next to you. The server & the rest of the staff were very nice & professional. As for the food, we loved some dishes & some dishes we were not too crazy about. The amuse bouche had a very refreshing cold soup served in a glass and the watermelon & cheese was good. The other two was a bit nondescript. All the fish dishes were outstanding but we could have done without some of the frothy accompaniments. Deconstructed fruit crumble was great and paired well with the espresso. We didn't like the chocolate cake with pickled carrots too much. The "pickle" kind of overwhelmed the plate. The Prosecco was served a bit warm. All in all, enjoyable but wish all the dishes were...

This small, intimate restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The seasonal menu is thoughtful and beautifully executed every dish felt like a work of art. We were welcomed with a complimentary trio of pre-appetizers: a refreshing melon soup, beetroot hummus, and a cabbage tartare, all packed with flavor and creativity.
For starters, the duck tartar with smoked celery and apple mousseline was rich and silky, while the salmon ceviche with citrus and coconut milk was fresh and vibrant.
The mains were just as impressive a perfectly cooked low-temperature sea bass with zucchini and sage, and a creamy mushroom risotto topped with hazelnuts that was pure comfort.
Desserts were a highlight: a deconstructed lemon tart and strawberries from Provence with diplomat cream light, sweet, and full of local flavor.
The attention to detail, cozy ambiance, and inventive cuisine make this a must-visit if you’re in Aix. One of the best meals we’ve had in France hands down.
