Sadly, there appears to be a pervasive trend throughout France, where your first visit to a particular restaurant is outstanding, but yet the next visit is mediocre at best. This is often the case in Paris, and sadly, was also the case at this restaurant.
Our first visit combined delicious, well prepared food with a delightfully competent, welcoming staff. On our second visit, about a year later, the older gentlemen (possibly the owner?), was just plain arrogant and disrespectful. Additionally, one of our steaks must have been an old shoe, because it was tough and utterly tasteless.
On a positive note, the young, tall waiter provided impeccable service, which partially made up for the grumpy curmudgeon standing in the corner.
Overall, we agreed that this would be our last visit at this restaurant, as there are plenty of other excellent dining...

Allez-y plutôt entre 12h et 13h car ils sont rapidement complet et le service termine assez tôt. À ce propos j'ai vu plusieurs personnes débarquer vers 14h30 et râler auprès des serveurs parce qu'il n'était plus possible de s'installer manger. Franchement organisez-vous mieux et arrêtez d'embêter les gens qui travaillent un jour férié pendant que votre seule activité consiste à vous sustenter.
À part ça : Ficelle picarde excellente dans ce restaurant. Mousse au chocolat également. Moins convaincue par le filet d'eglefin : pensez à enlever les arêtes pour en faire un vrai filet. Prix très abordables pour l'emplacement. Service un peu lent, mais un jour férié, on comprend.
Dans l'ensemble je recommande. J'y suis allé un midi. Je crois que pour le soir il est indispensable...
