El Pueblo — Restaurant in Annecy

The place is nice and atmosphere was initially inviting, but the staff were extremely rude.

We waited 20 minutes for service and when we did make our order, we asked the server about the allergens contained in a certain drink, because one of our group has extreme food allergies to a lot of ingredients and the contents were not displayed on the menu. He responded in an annoyed and accusatory tone with “ugh what, what are you allergic to then?”.

What began as a very simple honest question turned into a big ordeal and made our guest feel like they’re a burden. He couldn’t list the ingredients, and so they had to settle for something safe.

It’s a shame because the bar is well situated and nicely decorated, but the hospitality and basic compassion is...

The food and atmosphere were good for a tapas place. Prices were a bit high, however. As a solo traveler, after the bao buns with pork (very good!), I ordered the trio of hummus, tapenade, and sardines with pita to take away for lunch the next day. I enjoyed a bit of it and then asked for a box to take away and was told they had no takeaway. Seriously? I ended up leaving it with the adjacent table. €13 and I had to leave it because they don't have boxes? I've never heard of...

Nous n'avons pas vraiment apprécié l'accueil peu chaleureux et l'ambiance. La décoration est jolie et les plats son bon bien que la carte soit vraiment limitée au niveau du choix de tapas, mais c'est ma faute, j'aurais dû mieux regarder avant de réserver. Attention l'eau des toilettes pour se laver les mains est brûlante, impossible de laisser les mains en dessous,Et bouger la position du robinet ne change pas la température.la table était bancale et même si nous l'avons demandé plusieurs fois personne n'est venu la régler.... Les serveurs qui ont l'air novice ont l'air dépassés, la terrasse ferme à 23h et la musique est coupée a partir de 22h. A 22h30 ou vient nous encaisser car la terrasse va fermer...ça a lancé une sorte de froid et ça nous a coupé dans notre soirée.... je suis franchement mitigée par cette l'expérience et pour ma part je n'y retournerai...
