Each flavour, whether classic or innovative, is a veritable explosion of taste, testifying to meticulous craftsmanship. The texture of the ice creams is creamy and perfectly balanced, making each tasting experience even more enjoyable. Read moreGelatos were really good. Perfect texture and flavours, but treatment from the server was very poor (not worthy giving them any business). There was an older lady that asked for a coffee and the person serving gelato told her to wait inside, then she came back after a while of waiting to ask if it would still take too long and the guys said “how should I know”. He also told costumers that we’re waiting to get a gelato to not seat in the table until they got the gelato, even though nobody was sitting there or waiting. The costumers told him that they were just waiting a bit as the line was just too long (these were also elderly people). He was more interested in getting people off their tables (like pigeons) rather than providing proper service. To me he gave me a taste of an ice cream and then ask if I could use same spoon. I told him I wanted another one to share the gelato I had just bought with my husband and he gave me a lecture about the environment in a very rude way. The only person he treated properly was a local. He was clearly not wanting to serve tourist. It really ruined my last day in Annecy which otherwise was a...

We were really looking forward to trying the gelato at Les Plaice des Glaces in Annecy, especially since we had heard good things. We visited on a Sunday evening when it wasn’t very crowded, and naturally, we were excited to taste before choosing a flavor.

He said our entire group could only try two types, and even when one of my friends politely asked to try a third flavor before buying, he was refused very bluntly in front of others. It was embarrassing and completely unnecessary. Only the first person was allowed to try, and the rest of us were denied.
We understand if there are policies in place, but the way it was communicated felt rude and unwelcoming. We've been to other gelato shops where they happily offer small tastings without any issue.
The gelato itself was good, but the poor attitude of the staff really ruined the experience for us. Sadly, we...
