   Read moreI recently dined at Staya during Paris Fashion Week to celebrate a friendâs birthday, and sadly, the experience fell short of expectations.
From the start, the service was disappointing. My party was left unattended for 20 minutes after being seated, and we had to wave someone down to place an order. Water wasnât offered, and it took 35 minutes before we received any. Considering my friends had traveled far for this special occasion, it felt disheartening to be overlooked.
The food itself was flavorful but unfortunately not served hot, which diminished the overall experience. The drinks were enjoyable, but the pricing felt excessiveââŹ9.5 for a glass of apple juice is hard to justify. After we finished eating, our table was again left unattended, with no check-backs or clearing of plates. The lack of attention to basic table service was surprising for a venue of this caliber.
That said, the pavlova was absolutely delicious and ended my night on a better note. It was the highlight of the meal and one element that lived up to expectations.

Bref dĂ©ception totale. Les plats laissent Ă dĂ©sirer, ils sont insipides, sans audace, sans crĂ©ativitĂ©, Les accompagnements sont bien trop fades et ne relĂšvent pas le goĂ»t des plats qui manquent cruellement de saveur. Comme pour le riz basmati cuit mais sans sel ni poivre ni Ă©pice⊠un malaise ambiant sâinstalle en salle. AussitĂŽt, jâai fait remonter la remarque au serveur trĂšs agrĂ©able afin quâil puisse la transmettre au responsable. Le gĂ©rant du restaurant vient Ă ma rencontre, il Ă©tait Ă lâĂ©coute et a acceptĂ© la critique et il mâa expliquĂ© que le restaurant a ouvert ses portes il yâa 2 semaines. Comme on dit toute critique est bonne Ă prendre lorsque celle-ci est bien fondĂ©e. Suite Ă la dĂ©ception des plats, le gĂ©rant dĂ©cide de nous offrir les desserts avec mes amis. Geste apprĂ©ciable mais malheureusement nous nâallions que de dĂ©ception en dĂ©ception. Un rĂ©el FLOP.
SincĂšrement pour les influenceur, snapchateur, instagrammeur, qui aiment le mâas tu vu, je conseille fortement pour le cadre mais je dĂ©conseille cette adresse pour ce qui aime rĂ©ellement manger des plats de qualitĂ©. Je ne franchirais pas deux fois, les portes de cet Ă©tablissement. Du gĂąchis pour un restaurant aussi beau.
Cher Ă©quipe staya, je vous invite Ă aller jeter un coup dâĆil auprĂšs de Paris society si vous souhaitez taper le haut de gamme et comparer les diffĂ©rentes cartes du groupe et le goĂ»t des plats.
Un conseil, il va falloir soit modifier les prix de votre carte et les mettre Ă la baisse tout en gardant le chef cuisiner. Ou sinon garder ses prix mais prendre un chef Ă©toilĂ©. Car des restaurants du guide Michelin lorsquâil prĂ©sente une carte avec des plats au prix exorbitant, la saveur et la recherche des plats suivent. Cependant pour votre cas, pour une entrĂ©e il faut compter 20⏠à 85âŹ, les plats Ă 45⏠et la carte des desserts Ă 25⏠avec des cocktails sans alcool Ă 20âŹ. Vous devez viser lâexcellence.
