Le Bistro'Nomic Avignon — Restaurant in Avignon

I went there last Saturday evening 20th of August after having booked a table for two for a romantic dinner. First, as we walk in nobody notices us or greets us. I chase one of the waiters and he places us in a table inside in a rush, I tell him that we had a reservation and wanted to sit in the terrace, he checks and comes back saying that there is nothing left in the terrace and we have to sit there inside. I say to him that we had no idea that they don´t have air conditioining and he says we will be fine with a fan that they have there. Summing up, the service and the food was mediocre and we tried four or five different dishes.

The pictures in their website have nothing to do with what you get, we ordered the Choucroute de la mer - crevettes, noix de saint Jacques, cabillaud, saumon, moules and there were three dry shrimp, one sliced small and dry sea scallop and four small and dry mussels, the rest, about 3/4 of the dish was a mountain of pickled cabbage, so we didn´t eat it. They came with the check and told us that they deducted about 11 euros as a way to apologize. That is not what you do. The experience was really disappointing. Since I only stopped here and hat to catch the train in less than an hour later I didn't have much time. Especially concidering that I first have to walk there and then also back. But after a quick chit chat with the manager and explaining that I didn't have a lot of time she amediatly sat me down. Soon after I got served the Burger. Arrivés à 20h20 départ à 23h30. Serveur très sympathique, tapas copieux (même si on a dû demander à ce qu'on nous rajoute notre 6eme tapas) et bulots excellents.

Délai d'attente pour avoir 1 bouteille d'eau, 1 sangria, 2 mojitos, 3 cocktails avec alcool et 1 sans alcool : environ 45 mn / entre l'apéro et l'entrée : environ 1h / entre l'entrée et le plat : 1h15 (si c'est pas plus) ! Heureusement qu'il y avait les petits pains durs à manger et la salade en ornement pour combler l'appétit. Les valeurs sûres : les salades, les hamburgers et le fois gras. Pour ce qui est de l'assiette de la mer (avec ces 3 aïolis qui devaient venir des assiettes du midi ou de la veille vu qu'elles avaient pris un coup de chaud) c'est pas possible de servir une assiette pareille et qui plus est froide (ah oui j'ai dû demander les poulpes car sur 3 crustacés/poissons il en manquait 1 et je vous raconte même pas leur "etat"). Il faut vraiment changer les cuisiniers car c'est pas leur fort ! Quoi d'autre : ah oui le faux filet ! Obligée de se lever pour pouvoir le couper et en tous petits morceaux car sinon impossible de le couper ! On était une vingtaine dans le restaurant et certains étaient déjà là avant donc c'était pas la cohue. Et j'en passe mais j'espère que cette description en dissuadera...
