Had lunch here - a Regina Pizza and a salad with jambon, burrata and melon that was listed on the menu (there was no melon on the salad which we realized later). Service : Good - pleasant staff. Asked for a tip at the end. Good indication this is a location that caters to tourists and Americans in particular. Food: Regina pizza was "soggy" ... the liquid from the sauce or ham basically soaked the thin crust on the bottom - making it a rather sad pizza. Crust on the edges was ok otherwise. Generally speaking the food was nothing exceptional - basically average for France when so many great options exist. Given the price, it was not a good value in our opinion. Wouldn't recommend or eat...
Read moreWe had takeout from here TWICE during our stay in Avignon. The first time we had the 2 salmon radiatori and the escalope of chicken with tomato pasta. The escalope was good but the radiatori was exceptional. pasta cooked al dente and wonderful cream sauce perfectly seasoned. The second time we just had to have the radiatori again and also had the chef’s pizza, with the truffle cream, mushrooms and arugula. Absolutely delicious, fab crust and the topping combo with the added luxury of the truffle oil, fantastic! Thanks PINOCCHIO’s for great food at our Airbnb to accompany our wine purchases from all around France to pair with your...
Read moreAmerican here. Pinocchio was decent. The service was comparably a bit slow, but the restaurant was busy. We showed up just after opening and offered a table immediately but didn't get our main courses until probably an hour later. Which again, was understandable because they were busy. The food however, was a bit lackluster. Stick to the pizza and you'll be safe, watch out for the pits in the olives on the pies tho(????) zucchini cream gnocchi didn't have much flavor, and was under-salted (beginning to feel like this is a french food norm). Overall a fine experience but I don't have any reason...
