Had a bear and a hot sandwich.
The beer was good and well poured, but the sandwich was a fail.
They heated it, but the the majority of the cheese didn’t melt, and the it had other mixed cheese inside, to camouflage the lack of Camembert, and that one was cold.
So the “hot normand” was not hot, was a bit warm on the top and super cold in the middle.
I asked for the toilet, and they said they didn’t had one… You can sit and eat and drink, but no place to wash your hands our go to the toilet…
The price was not insane considering the location.

Amidst the crowds gathering at the first few food stops up the hill, this place is towards the end of the hill and entrance to the abbey. Read moreAs we toured Mont St Michel we kept seeing people with bagguett sandwiches, everyone looked like they were really enjoying them so after not finding a restaurant with availability for a sit down lunch, we decided to try the hot dog baguettes at Au Pelerin. So glad we did. The simple joy dogs, French fries and coke were exactly the fuel we needed for our lunch time break. Everything was fresh and yummy and though there was a queue, it went quickly.
