Our experience here was first class from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The service was exceptional and the food was absolutely outstanding. Without question this was our best meal in Beaune and we wish we could have eaten here again before our departure. It is a true dining “experience” that will not be easily forgotten. Although we were able to be seated as a walk in I would highly recommend reservations. We were so happy to discover this gem right next to our hotel. Located on a quieter and unassuming street. You might miss it if you aren’t paying attention. But you would regret it! This is probably one of our favorite meal so far in France. I can’t describe how incredibly delicious the escargot was - it came with cookie shells that you’re supposed to eat the entirety in one night (I thought it was a real shell)!! Went there on a Friday night at 7:30 and it wasn't too busy but by the time we left a little after 9 it was packed. My bf got the set bourgogne menu with coq a vin and I ordered the sea bream with zucchini. The coq a vin had really good flavor but could have used more of the sauce. The sea bream was delicious! Really flavorful and paired very well with the zucchini and tomato hash below it. They had a good wine by the bottle list and about four white and four red options by the glass.
