It’s Soul Good!! Very amazed by Matthieu the chef and owner of the place who single handedly runs the whole restaurant with much poise and efficiency and joy! You could sense his passion and care for attention to detail.
Very course is well explained and Chef was patient to explain the ingredients he used for the dishes.
There are only 2 menus - fixed menu and a weekly menu that changes once a week. Hubby and I took one each and it was a good choice.
The wine selection by Chef was a Pinot Noir that paired well with the menu.
Starter was a cheese tart so fluffy it almost flew away 😂 you could smell the cheese from the kitchen as Chef was preparing it.
The soba salad was refreshing and light and the ingredients used was delightful.

The food was amazing, the service was great and the wine suggestion for our lunch was perfect and the most amazing thing is the owner Mathieu is your chef, waiter, maitre d, barista, kitchen hand and I assume dishy. He does not skip a beat wearing all of these hats executing your 3 course dining experience like a true professional. We had the permanent menu of Berthaut Epoisses tart (cheese tart), Beef Beef Bourguignon, and blackcurrant cream/gingerbread nonette. All 3 courses we're absolutely amazing and if we had the time we would go back for the other 3 course menu which changes regularly.
