O Marie-Annie — Restaurant in Bordeaux

A very odd experience. When we arrived I said drink and crepe. We were not offered the menu for crepes although they were making one for someone when I went to pay. I wanted a macchiato coffee and asked three times for macchiato, cortado or espresso with a small amount of milk. What I received was a tasteless small milky coffee. The two people looked very miserable and our two pan au chocolate were served cold - even though there was a grill and surely they could have asked if we wanted it to be warmed up.

Right by the Cathedral you could easily miss this creperie, which would be a great shame indeed. Why? Because the twin sister owners are real characters with great panache, serving no nonsense, tasty and enjoyable food at a price nobody could argue with.
