We ordered two cocktails and three dishes, with two peruvian beers. Total 70 euros.
The cocktails were OK, nothing more. My grandma could have made them.
First dish: scallops ceviche with leche de tigre and guacamole. This is the only dish i would order again. It would have been nice to have some nachos or crackers to go with it. Eating ceviche just with the fork is not that fun.
Second dish: ceviche nikkei. Huge pieces of tuna which made it difficult to mix the ingredients. The overall taste was just “OK”.
Third dish: lomo saltado. Would be acceptable if youve never eaten it before. The meat was hard to chew and the taste was, once again, merely OK.
About the service: very friendly but lacked experience. They didnt bring plates to share our dishes, the beer was not too cold.
The location: last but not least, the restaurant is located just in front of this ugly, 5-stores parking lot, which certainly doesnt help, especially not when only 2min away you have plenty of restaurants in little typical streets.
In summary, i dont really know where the good rating comes from. I guess there arent too many peruvian rests in...

The staff seemed ok but not...

We enjoyed every bits of our experience there and we'll make sure to go back before long! It's a must in Bordeaux if you' re after this type of cuisine. We shared couple tacos to start with and couple of ceviche to follow, with the café gourmand "para los gordos" to finish with... everything...
