Average at best. We arrived at around 3pm and found the restaurant to be virtually empty with around a dozen tables taken. The most noticeable thing was a couple leaving, meals half eaten and cutlery left at the 'ready', not straight as you'd expect if they'd finished their meal. We sat and after 10 minutes had to ask for menus. The waitress wandered off, cleared a table and then collected some drinks before returning with the menus. We ordered our meals; no mussels and 3 or 4 of the beers were off. When the food arrived the chips appeared reheated and looked dry. The ribs, of which there were 3, were ok & the green salad was very basic. We weren't offered any deserts, so 20 minutes after we'd finished we asked for the bill. The same waitress then went on to clear another table, get some more drinks and then take payment from another table. It all seemed like it was too much trouble, short on service and short on smiles & it wasn't because there weren't enough staff, there were at least 6 that I could see. Also the toilets weren't particularly clean. There were two urinals, both covered with black plastic bags. I don't imagine we'll eat here again..

The fish was overcooked and had too much oil as so were the chips but almost crispy and burnt. The meal I received had a hair on it which means I had to tell the waitress to received a fresh meal. I'm not sure whether I got a new meal or the same meal with new fish. The Tuna meal wasn't that good as the Tuna was raw and didn't state on the menu that it isn't cooked. I would say the salad meal was probably the option out of the meals we had. Dessert we ordered 2 crepes with whipped cream and Tutti Fruiti. The crepe felt a bit chewy but the cream was fine. The issue I had was the plate I had my crepe served on looked dirty. I wouldn't go here again.

Globalement au fil du temps le service s’est dégradé sans compter l’inflation qui est venu réduire la taille des portions. Aujourd’hui, commande d’un Burger Maxi Bœuf servi sans sa tranche de bœuf mariné. Découvert lors de la dégustation et signalé, on récupère votre plat et on vous remet dessus petit morceau de bœuf mariné comme à la cantine. Le minimum pour se rattraper aurait par principe de resservir un nouveau plat et l’affaire été classée. Geste commercial : on nous offre le supplément sirop du menu enfant (au passage on le découvre. Personne ne nous a prévenu à la commande et la carte est pourtant explicite il n’y en a pas) et un expresso. Bref quand les 3B ne riment plus avec générosité mais essentiellement rentabilité. Allier les deux est pourtant possible.

Over the years I've been to this restaurant many times and was always a bit of a final highlight before returning home from a holiday. However a recent visit was incredibly dissapointing, the first guy waved us into a table without really engaging with us, we wanted food but later became apparant we were shoed into an area which only covered drinks... so we sat down at a table. I've sat almost in the same place everytime we've come here so didn't think much to it.

It wasn't busy in our section 5 tables at most including ourselves, but the waiter seemed rushed, first problem I'm not sure if he could find the drink i ordered(4 beer sampler) on his tablet so had to keep rushing off which put him in more of a panic....then I asked for the menu!

His english wasn't too good and my french very rusty, but if he'd slowed down we would of been ok.. We both tried our best but he was very uncomfortable which made me the same. I think one of the issues was about me ordering the beer first in the drink section and there being a 3euro deal on beer when ordering moules, but I really didn't mind I didn't get it. He already rung the drink bill up as well which confused it more.

So I ordered the 2 x moules with crème à l'ail and a frites, couldn't find this on the PDQ, rushed off..after a little wait it arrived not sure if we were going to get what we ordered, 2 frites and 2 moules came as normal no cream.. he then asked if we wanted more drink I said(in french) yes another pepsi and the same for me. no drinks arrived by time we finished our meal, so we gave up and asked for the bill which came very promptly and we left. I'm sure this is just a very rare occasion this would of happened, was he new(just guessing from not being able to use the tablet menu? he did try his best, he just needed to slow down and not get worked up about not speaking english and stop saying "sorry", my french was no better. we'll come here again I'm sure and I'll review then as well hopefully it...

Ridiculously long wait for food, wrong order brought out, food poor and overpriced.

We were seated and our order was taken. After some time, a couple were seated next to us. They took time choosing their food, had their orders taken, had it served, ate it, chatted for a while, asked for the bill, paid and left. During this time - around an hour - we were still waiting for our food (and some water, which never materialised).

We finally managed to chase it up with a waiter who went out back to check, and came back a little while later with two plates of food.

However, what they brought out for my husband wasn't what he ordered. When he asked to have it changed, they said it would take another 20 minutes to prepare. So he gave up and just ate what they'd wrongly brought out for him, as I would have finished my meal before his would arrive.

Although perhaps not, because the mussels in my dish were so comically tiny (think the size of a large grape) that it took forever to eat. I eventually had to leave over half of my dish uneaten because we had been there for so long already.

We thought there might be some recognition of the awful service on the bill, but no.

Absolutely terrible, especially for a restaurant next to a major transport hub. Don't go if you can't afford...

Il y a quelques mois, j'étais allé avec ma femme et mon fils aux 3 brasseurs de Coquelles. Mon fils a pris un menu enfant. Ma fille était absente ce jour là. Comme nous lui disons à chaque fois qu'on se rend dans un resto, il doit être sage à table si il veut avoir son cadeau du menu enfant. C'est notre façon de pouvoir le tenir sage à table. Il a donc respecté les règles du jeu, et a donc attendu, comme il se doit, son cadeau à la fin du repas. Le serveur est venu lui apporter des bijoux en plastique, étant "désolé", car il n'y a plus que des cadeaux pour fille. Je vous laisse imaginer sa déception. Et aucun tact du serveur. De notre côté, les flamemmekueches étaient très peu garnies et très chères pour ce que c'est. Suite à ce mécontentement, j'ai contacté le siège des 3 brasseurs pour leur expliquer la problématique. On m'a alors orienté vers le directeur de l'établissement de Coquelles qui m'a proposé de revenir dans leur restaurant, et qu'il prendrait à sa charge les menus enfants. Il devait revenir vers moi une fois qu'il aurait les cadeaux garçon pour éviter une nouvelle déception. Faute de retour, je recontacte le siège des 3 brasseurs qui me confirme par écrit que j'aurais bien les 2 menus enfants offerts pour mes 2 enfants, et qu'ils font la réservation pour moi, pour s'excuser de l'absence de retour. Je donne donc mon nom, la date, l'heure. Puis, je me présente à l'heure convenue. On me dit qu'il n'y a pas de réservation à mon nom, et qu'il est d'ailleurs impossible que j'ai réservé car les réservations sont prises le samedi soir uniquement pour des gros groupes. Je passe donc pour un menteur. Le serveur appelle son responsable, qui soutient son serveur et me confirme que je me suis trompé de réservation. Il me dit qu'il peut me trouver malgré tout une place. Je dis ok mais avec les 2 menus enfants offerts comme promis. Ce responsable m'a alors ri au nez en disant haut et fort "Non seulement, il réserve pas, et en plus, il veut des menus gratuits".... Alors que c'est juste ce qui m'a été promis par écrit ! Face à cet incident et ce manque de respect inadmissible, je décide de partir. Arrivé chez moi, je reprends contact par écrit avec le siège qui me confirme par écrit que l'établissement avait bien eu l'information de ma réservation. On m'a donc pris pour un fou, à tort, lors de mon passage... Tout comme pour les menus enfants, qui étaient connus du restaurant. Mais c'était juste la mauvaise foi du responsable ! Le siège me propose donc de reprendre contact avec le directeur, j'ai son numéro, je l'appelle, il raccroche. Il me laisse dans la foulée un SMS me disant qu'il est en réunion, et me demande l'objet de mon appel. Je lui explique succintement que c'est lié à un incident en resto avec une reservation non prise en compte et des menus enfants refusés offerts. Il me dit "ok, vous voulez que je réserve ?". Je lui réponds que déjà je veux parler de vive voix avec lui pour qu'on s'explique sur ce que j'ai vécu, et pas simplement "prendre une réservation". Il me promet de me rappeler le lendemain 18h. Il ne m'a bien sur jamais rappelé, encore un engagement non tenu, et cette fois ci de la direction ! J'ai alors repris contact avec le siège, qui me demande de voir directement avec le directeur, et ne répond plus aux messages. La boucle est bouclée. Beaucoup de temps perdu, et surtout un sentiment énorme de s'être fait balader par des pseudo-commerçants qui n'ont aucun sens de la satisfaction du client ! Ce resto ne mérite pas sa clientèle et je ne peux que vous conseiller de le fuir, si vous ne voulez pas enrichir des malhonnêtes qui n'ont absolument aucun intérêt à vous...
